3:41 Amazing sounds but with some caveats: 1. There is no Harman target. It’s tuned slightly similar to U12t 64Audio. Meaning, high-pitch female voices will be drowned (I like this). 2. 3.5kHz peak is its greatest weakness. It’s almost sibilant at times. It will magnify any crackles (eg phone-in shows or podcasts). Try ACDC long way to the top, most people who dislikes bag pipe will die with the accentuated 3.5kHz. The best presets is the Dynaudio real (adds more body to voice, slightly takes edge of the 3.5k peak).
I think now OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is the winner. It's weird how after the Oppo takeover of OnePlus OnePlus's phones have become trashy because of the software but OnePlus audio has become better, whereas Oppo has and is still blech
So I hear using with AAC will give up to 9.5 hours on the buds themselves per charge is that consistent or does it switch back to normal 6.5h when AAC isn’t available? Like for example you can have AAC enabled but it’s not always activated because of either cellular signal or Wi-Fi speeds if that’s the case I’ll keep looking for a pair of earbuds

Although I really like the song quality of the oppo enco x2, I have a major battery issue with them! The battery empty itself after few days in the case even if don't use the headphones! IT SHOULDN'T BE THE CASE I BELIEVE 😢
Ok, you got me, I ordered them. But I wonder why you don’t take the jbl live pro 2 in account for references, esp when it comes to stemstyle buds, because they are by far the best allrounders I tested so far?
Just got them. The voice is in Chinese-nice change of pace there. As usual the review spot-on. I really like the sound signature. Big low end still with good PRaT(pace, rhythm, and timing). Nice sound stage. Easily could be a daily driver. The Oppo's do great in my Gojia The Trails A/B test. However, my Lyperteks Z5s still rein as my personal champs. The planar driver does not give me anything extra that I can detect( I own the Oppo PM3 planars).
Your conclusion is very much on point! This is the best stem style airpods pro alternative for android as far as I have seen. After switching to a Galaxy Z Fold 4 from iPhone 13 Pro Max I've been looking to replace my airpods pro. I have tried Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Huawei Freebuds pro 2 and finally landed on the Enco X2's. Here are some of my thoughts after testing these: - The Galaxy Buds 2 pro's seal and fit well initially but I have to adjust them quite often when on the move and aren't as comfortable over longer periods of time. I've had Jabra's in the past as well with similar experiences. I've come to the conclusion that non-stem earbuds aren't as comfortable for my ears, but that's personal and can be different for others. Also, only stem earbuds seem to be comfy when laying in bed which is an important use case to me. - The default EQ on the Galaxy buds just sounded terrible to me. The balance was way off. The dynamic EQ preset mostly fixed this for me, but it just wasn't as balanced or wide as I would like. - Touch controls (galaxy buds) are the worst idea ever on earbuds imo. Especially when laying in bed. - The galaxy wearable app is OK but not as clean and fast as the Heymelody app in my experience (which is a great app!). Golden sound is an awesome feature on Heymelody! - I wasn't missing true multipoint connection until I tried the Enco X2s with my phone and macbook. - I was pleasantly surprised by Google fast pairing when I first opened the Enco X2s. Don't really understand why this didn't work with my galaxy buds as it is way faster. Also, Google services displays a notification with battery percentages for the case and each bud, which I missed with the galaxy buds. - The difference in noise cancellation/ambient between galaxy buds and enco's was very noticeable to me. Some of it is due to the different designs (non-stem goes deeper in the ear with a tighter seal for me) I think. My takeaway is that these modes feel artificial and heavy on the Galaxy buds while the Oppo's are very subtle, but just too subtle for my liking. Especially transparency mode could have been enhanced a bit. The modes on the Oppo are still very good though, just nitpicking here. - As for the huawei freebuds 2 pro (I also had the first gen way back): The case is too large, the buds are too large and quite uncomfortable, the app is trash, the EQ's aren't really my taste (but custom EQ is possible). However the biggest dealbreaker was it's volume, that was waaaaaaaay lower than any pair of buds I have ever tested. Immediately returned them. All in all I think that the Oppo Enco X2's deserve a lot of praise and are great for people who want the best possible stem design pair of buds (and an alternative to airpods pro). Keep up the great work on this channel. Groeten uit Rotterdam!
Yep I mostly agree with u One thing I want to point out is the marketing around the enco x2. They advertise a feature called speak to chat but in fact this feature does not exist (a bit disappointing) Also with the enco x2 I've not little to know pressure build up, it's really comfortable to wear for extended periods of time I will say that I find the transparency mode on the Freebuds Pro 2 much much better though (very natural)
@@SibTiger33 Oh didn't know that, maybe they can add it in a software/firmware update. I was so disappointed by the freebuds that I honestly didn't really try the transparency mode irl, but yeah there are definitely better transparency mode buds out there although these are still good enough for most!
@@fishfrom96 yep spot on the transparency mode is fine with these. Regarding speak to chat I spoke to support and if appesds they have no plans to add so its being removed from marketing material
@@SibTiger33 Ah that's a shame. By the way I read rumors that Oneplus is coming with new stem buds on xda I think. Since OnePlus is a sister company of Oppo I expect the same internals but maybe they'll add this feature in those ;)
Hello DHRME. I will be much obliged if i can get a reply. So i am considering these options to get for my iphone - A) get oppo Enco X2 - I'll get better sound and at much lesser price, it will cost me 98 euros in india. Seems to me good price to performance ratio. I don't have much knowledge about customization on eq. Still learning the nitty-gritty. B) Airpods pro GEN 1 - costs me roughly 185 euros in india. C) Airpods pro GEN 2 - Go all out , costs me 300 euros in india. Very rarely I take calls on tws and that too mostly indoors. Suggestions pls, even if it doesn't make sense to you 🙈🤔🤠 And how stupid it is to not get airpods? I just switched to iPhone for the first time after using android for 15 yrs . What's most value for money?

I am considering new Earbuds. After listening to a lot of your videos, I am between these, the edifier neobuds pro, and the soundcore liberty 4. I currently have the soundcore liberty 3 pro and I love them! However, the fit is a bit weird and I started looking at stem style buds for better comfort. Which ones would you recommend? Mainly for sound quality?
call quality for all earbuds including Oppo Enco X2 is not worth buying them. I have an XM4 and I don't use it for calls - only for listening to music and watching movies. I am still looking for earbuds that are good for making calls. Any other recommendation?
1:15 These buds? Need some reference links or name here. Nothing to clearly indicate what buds you're talking about other than image of the bud and a logo.
OK so I finally got these in black and wow.... These are fantastic. Firstly great fit and comfort for me and sound quality is excellent (not bassy). I also feel like anc is really fantastic and this is because there is actual real noise cancellation going on. What I mean is there is very little passive cancellation with this yet when noise cancelling is active you can really feel it working. It's great that you can use buds independently and importantly you can use ambient mode with one bud 🎊🎉🎊 and calls sound great for me. Not sure what happened during your review and for me it was really good (not the best but at least more comfortable to take calls than with the 1more evo). Overall great job oppo.. Now let's hope it gets audio switching support
Hi, I have both these buds sealed in the box and trying to decide which to keep and which to sell (I can only hang on to one). I'd really appreciate if you could share which you have found to be your favorite (if you have a favorite), and why? Thanks!
How's the SQ when compared to Galaxy Buds 2 Pro? I'm not using Samsung mobile though. My preference is airy sparkling sound with solid base (too much to ask 😛)
SQ on the x2 is awesome and I would say on par with the Galaxy buds 2 pro..they stream at a higher resolution 32bit 96khz using LDAC...So would give the edge to the X2 and the sound has good sparkle and airiness. I would say it's quite possibly better and more comfortable based on the last couple of hours since I got them. Been using buds2 pro since they came out and now using the x2.
@@degatube Any advantage you feel while using enco x2 pro over galaxy buds 2 pro or do you think someone has galaxy buds 2 pro already, dont need to go to enco x2. @@mahfoojkhan5707 this is my 2nd day with the x2. I don't see any major advantage over the buds2 pro. Infact the sound quality in buds2 pro is a bit better at times. I think the amplifier on the buds2 pro is better. X2 is really good in its own merit but if you already have buds2 pro, then the only advantage I see is the true multi point and higher res LDAC codec support. After a bit more usage I am finding the buds2 pro fit to be better than the x2. ANC on the X2 is a bit better and cleaner than the buds2 pro and has more options. Overall X2 is a really good alternate to Buds2 pro but they are more or less in the same league.
Planning to buy premium TWS ~ 10K ₹. Please Tell me what life can I expect out of them in general. Will I need to buy new one every year? Have shortlisted Oppo Enco X2.
That's a very good question - the Oppo sounds great but it's less in your face than the Momentum. And on other aspects like ANC etc is less capable. For my ears, Oppo also fits better for longer periods of time. What's important for you?
These earbuds sound amazing and a slight sonic improvement over the first gen. I could hear sounds iv not heard from other earbuds. My only critique is they're not that wide sounding. This is a personal preference and in no way a criticism over the sound quality. The soundstage just isn't wide enough for me. I prefer my Sony xf 1000m4s for that.
@DHRME what would you suggest 1000xm5 or sennheiser Momentum 4? Keeping in mind xm5 are almost $100 cheaper in India. But sony have 1yr warranty vs 2 from sennheiser. I am bit confused. Is sound quality from sony that bad to justify $100 upgrade to sennheiser. Please advise.
I dont see what you are griping about. In the noisy environment test and the windy conditions test, the Oppo sounded the best, besting the Pixelbuds and the Jabra. Why dont you provide a sound sample too, the newly fangled earlike thingy that some others use?
I think the Oppo was the best at cutting out the most background noises in the noisy environment, but that can't be said as the best mic. So far, Pixel and Sony are the only ones who came close to oppo in terms of background noise suppression. Pixel buds pro gave the best mic output followed by Sony and then oppo. The voice was more loud and crisp.

2. 3.5kHz peak is its greatest weakness.
I love these tws and the good is i bought it for just 7800 RS(95 Usd).
How??

In terms of sound quality and durabality , which shouldni prefer op buds 3 pro or oppo x2?
I think now OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is the winner. It's weird how after the Oppo takeover of OnePlus OnePlus's phones have become trashy because of the software but OnePlus audio has become better, whereas Oppo has and is still blech
I have the buds pro 2 and its garbage
@@jessica49arrow works perfectly for me
So I hear using with AAC will give up to 9.5 hours on the buds themselves per charge is that consistent or does it switch back to normal 6.5h when AAC isn’t available? Like for example you can have AAC enabled but it’s not always activated because of either cellular signal or Wi-Fi speeds if that’s the case I’ll keep looking for a pair of earbuds
Hey DHRME, Great video there. How are these compared to the Samsung buds Pro 1? Are they a significant upgrade in terms of mic, specifcally anc and sound.
Thanks.
Oppo enco x 2 or Soundcore liberty 3 pro? About sound quality
Very different sound. A have both.
For me, Oppo is step up to audiophile experience, and lib3 is for more emotional sound impressions.
@@user-je6vu6xh9s thank you
How do they sound compared to the Sennheiser CX Plus? Both in the same range here in India.
Which is best to select in settings for hifi songs audio listening - ldac or lhdc ?

Although I really like the song quality of the oppo enco x2, I have a major battery issue with them!
The battery empty itself after few days in the case even if don't use the headphones!
IT SHOULDN'T BE THE CASE I BELIEVE 😢
My brain kept going:"Test test testicle ..."
woahhh what planar AND dynamic in EACH BLUETOOTH earbud?? that's awesome!!
Absolutely!!
Oppo enco X2 or soundcore liberty 4 NC?
Ok, you got me, I ordered them. But I wonder why you don’t take the jbl live pro 2 in account for references, esp when it comes to stemstyle buds, because they are by far the best allrounders I tested so far?
This was before we had those indeed!
Awesome, thank you!
Is there any eq missing or extra in China vs global?
Your conclusion is very much on point! This is the best stem style airpods pro alternative for android as far as I have seen.
After switching to a Galaxy Z Fold 4 from iPhone 13 Pro Max I've been looking to replace my airpods pro. I have tried Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Huawei Freebuds pro 2 and finally landed on the Enco X2's. Here are some of my thoughts after testing these:
- The Galaxy Buds 2 pro's seal and fit well initially but I have to adjust them quite often when on the move and aren't as comfortable over longer periods of time.
Yep I mostly agree with u
One thing I want to point out is the marketing around the enco x2. They advertise a feature called speak to chat but in fact this feature does not exist (a bit disappointing)
Also with the enco x2 I've not little to know pressure build up, it's really comfortable to wear for extended periods of time
I will say that I find the transparency mode on the Freebuds Pro 2 much much better though (very natural)
Since OnePlus is a sister company of Oppo I expect the same internals but maybe they'll add this feature in those ;)
Fantastisch comment and great points! De groeten!
Hello DHRME. I will be much obliged if i can get a reply.
So i am considering these options to get for my iphone -
A) get oppo Enco X2 - I'll get better sound and at much lesser price, it will cost me 98 euros in india.
Hard to say what value for money means to you, but the Airpods Pro 2 is the most superior product!
In terms of call quality, is Oppo Enco X2 better than buds 2 pro ? I have a galaxy phone , can you tell me which one is better among the three :
1) Buds 2 pro

3) Oppo enco x2
My requirement:
I have a Samsung phone , want a comfy design with good call quality !
I have the galaxy buds 2 pro and they are excellent but the call quality is a bit disappointing. I think i'm gonna return them and buy the Oppo, which seems to be better. (I also have a galaxy phone)

I am considering new Earbuds. After listening to a lot of your videos, I am between these, the edifier neobuds pro, and the soundcore liberty 4. Bang and Olufsen Ex, Oppo Enco X2, Status Between 3 ANC
Honor Earbuds 3 Pro, Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 and Moondrop Space Travel

2 more buds I'll recommend you check out are the jbl live pro 2 and freebuds Pro 2

General consensus is yes, they are superior.

Both are identical for us. 🤷♂️

Hey , great review
But please give me some insights on how enco x2 compare to b & o ex buds in terms of sound quality?
call quality for all earbuds including Oppo Enco X2 is not worth buying them. I have an XM4 and I don't use it for calls - only for listening to music and watching movies. I am still looking for earbuds that are good for making calls. Any other recommendation?
What problem did u have with the enco x2? They are fine for me. No bud will be amazing in noisy conditions though
1:15 These buds? Need some reference links or name here. Nothing to clearly indicate what buds you're talking about other than image of the bud and a logo.
Oops! You're right! Soundcore Sleep A10.
Thanks!
Was the calls good in noisy crowd and loud environments? Without background noise and only voice?
@@lasantha1984 Hi, do you finally understood that? Because I want to buy these but for me is really important call quality and noise handling.
@@degatube thanks for the explanation.. 👍
@@degatube Any advantage you feel while using enco x2 pro over galaxy buds 2 pro or do you think someone has galaxy buds 2 pro already, dont need to go to enco x2. I mean which one do you prefer in terms of overall sound quality, is there hige difference due to which we need to switch to enco x2 or is just minor difference in sound?
Thank you. I appreciate that you have reviewed this earbuds
Cheers Ling!
Which one to pick between this one and the Huawei freebuds pro 2?

Would you recommend the oppo enco x2 or seinheisser true wireless 3? I have airpod pro 1st gen but want something with better sound quality!
That's a very good question - the Oppo sounds great but it's less in your face than the Momentum. And on other aspects like ANC etc is less capable. For my ears, Oppo also fits better for longer periods of time. What's important for you?
Hello ..
From an audiophile point of view, would you say that the Oppo Core X2 are great?
What would their competition be?
Thanks!!
For sure. But we're not audiophiles. ;)
@@DHRME Thanks!!

These are both wireless headphones - Sony is fine!
Galaxy Buds2 pro or Oppo Enco X2. Ur suggestions bro
How does the audio quality compare with the airpods pro 1? I am asking this because my brither has airpods pro 1 and i’m quite used to it
Somehow I couldn't hear the testicle but something like testing in all...is that autocorrect?
Which transparency mode has super hearing? Samsung buds 2 pro or Oppo?
Excellent review!! Now you need to test de Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro! Eagerly looking forward to watch it. These xiaomi buds has the highest price between chinese brands. and the promise is 48db of ANC. Hope you consider it!
