As someone, who worked on my confidence the past few years, I can confirm that owning who you are and trusting yourself /believing in yourself is the basis of confidence. You nailed it, Jillz.
Your videos are like free therapy for me 🥹💖 or as if I'm talking with a close friend. Your energy is so calming and encouraging. Thank you 🌸 Also would you ever be interested in making a home tour? Your space always looks so clean and feminine! 🪻 I love your style!
Oh my goodness- the thing about the fish climbing a tree. As my 'retirement job' I became a catering server. I love working with and teaching young people, I LOVE the job and am good at it. They asked me to work a few days a week in the office. I agreed to try, but found it frustrating and depressing and felt useless. I found a replacement who is office oriented and am back to doing what I love, working with my team of younger girls and seeing them flourish. My greatest reward is having them ask for advice and then take it.... I didn't have a normal upbringing and I love being able to help young people succeed :)
Thank you so much for this detailed, not complicated explanations that hit right where it should. And sometimes it goes like “I’m actually won’t be doing ‘this’ anymore” once said applies forever !! 💖💖💖🤗🤗🤗💕💕💕
This is the pep talk I needed this morning! I've been struggling with this lately for different reasons in my personal life and as a watercolor artist. I like that you said to just keep showing up, try new things. I struggle in groups and crowds. I used to be very outgoing but in recent years have become pretty introverted. I'm trying to remind myself I'll be ok no matter what. I can count on me and trust myself to navigate whatever comes up : )
Thank you, Jilz ❤ As always, your words resonated with me. I have been always a shy person, but, since my teens, I have been trying to fake an extroverted personality. It was a huge social disaster and a killer for my inner confidence. For the shy people out there: you will not be forgotten and not recognized because you are quiet, your shine is actually visible everywhere and everytime. ✨🎇
You really are so thorough in every topic you speak about. You give great examples. You are a joy to watch and listen to. I'm so greatful I found you. Thank you for doing what you do.
Your point about rewriting your story really resonates with me. When I did narrative therapy with my therapist a few years ago, it helped me to identify why I defined myself in certain ways and what I based my worth on, and build a new story for myself
Being an introvert surrounded by extroverts most of my life. Ur surroundings mostly influence our thought and so I felt that being extrovert is confidence and how I should be. I tried to act extrovert in my teens for few days or so, but it just drained my energy and never made me happy. Then growing up I realised being myself is more important and then I find many strong introvert personalities that I admired. Being myself and accepting it made me happier and more confident. Being introvert and extrovert have their own special characteristics and advantages. We should admire ourselves.
So much of what you said feels genius to me. I really like the part about knowing you're good enough like you know your own name. I've never thought about things in that way before. Thank you! 💗
I love this video! Great advice. However there is one thing i disagree with. Just because you are good at something doesn’t mean that’s what you should do with your life. For example, I was really good at video editing at a really young age. Everyone told me that i should do it as a career because it was something i was a natural at. I even went to film school. But i realized how unhappy I was now that it was no longer a hobby. And i realized i wasn’t meant to be a video editor. I dropped out of film school and taught myself business skills and started from scratch. I had chosen a path just because it was something i was good at and my parents expected me to pursue it. So i don’t agree with that but everything else is marvelous.
I just found you and you are already changing my life. Your videos are amazing ! I have a lot of knowledge but i don t share it cause i am really scared of being on social media but i think after this video i will give it a try. Thank you !
Oh my god, everything you said makes so much sense! I love the analogy with the dog. I think you might have just changed my life for the good forever. Thank you so so so much!
Always love your advice! I especially liked the piece where you said you don’t have to be great or the best at something to do it or feel confident doing it 👏🏽 you just need to show up for yourself!
I’m thankful I discovered you! 🥹You’re the kind of friend I’d like to have. I’m and inspired by your content and you have such a welcoming energy that invites you to come along side, even though it’s self work.
This was so encouraging with easy to digest practices. I can actually see myself using these in my daily life without being overwhelmed by the list of "positive tasks" we tend to collect when we are trying to better ourselves. Thank you
I just found you like two days ago and now I've been watching your videos all the time! You are just a magnetic personality and so wise. Thank you for a great content! 🥰
I usually don't write comments, but this is an exception. Truly the amazing video, one of the best that I've ever seen on the confidence topic. Thank you so much. 😍
OMG, I just want to thank you from my whole heart!❤❤❤ This video is right on time and actually all of your videos have helped me so so much. Thank you Jillz! Loved the confidence talk.
I love the point you touched on about confidence being about inner trust and comfort. This is something I've always struggled with and the re-frame was so eye-opening for me. ♥️ It's the always measuring your self worth against externals that creates a lack of confidence.
I Loooooooooove this video. Last night I was watching a video summarising "Miranda in, the Devil wears Prada" and one of the things I admire about her sooooooooo much and want is how quietly she speaks, I must admit I did not like how brutal she was but that quiet way of delivering, I want that so bad, they asked her in an interview how she achieved that and she said she mirrored it from Clint Eastwood on set because people always give him undivided attention when he speaks because that quiet personality makes him so Powerful on set. I know this personality could shoot my Confidence to the Moon. I would shift my personality to Miranda's personality because I seriously chat too much.
I have been so loving these videos! What if you feel like your meant to be a stay at home mom but your husband wants you to work? I try and find something I could love for work but just feel like I’m going against who I really am
Thank you so so much Jillz for this video and this video is truly truly helpful to me in my life you're looking too pretty and I wish you have a beautiful weekend💫🤗💖
Wow, this video was needed! I really struggle with not being awkward with people; especially when i have to work with them for an entire day or so. I start off very strongly, but eventually, i just stop being able to make small talk, and I focus solely on work. Is there anything I can do about it?
I have a question about being embarrassed: Can this feeling tell you, that something just isn’t yours? How a person can differ this thing from stepping from comfort zone, for example? (Like you said, if I understood correctly). Thank you!
Hi Jillz 💕 I’m curious as to what your zodiac sign is! I’m a Scorpio and I also feel confident when I embrace my own introvertedness and quiet mind which can make me seem mysterious! Love your videos 🫶🏻
11:10 I get a lot of these situations. My eyes are steel grey, but most people don't know this color exist, so they eaither tell me they are blue or green, but they are neither. And I have to argue about it, which is silly since it's sucha trivial thing, but if they are grey, they are grey, just like milk is white and nobody will convince me it is black.
Thanks for making these videos.. will you be my hypnotist? 🥺some things easier said than done.. struggling with the same auto immune as you right now trying to get through school work and overcome.. feels like everything hurts right now but when I watch your videos and listen to your message I feel an think a little better.. thank you 💕
It's one of my strength my favorite thing to do is acting in front of a mirror as If I'm the new character in my favorite movie like the song rewrite the stars from the greatest showman movie
From an astrological point of view, you being a Cancer sun means your moon placement is indicative of where you feel most content, confident and at ease. I already know you have a Libra moon, so peace and balance is already a huge theme, but the house that its placed in is going to be a huge tell tail where you feel most confident 🦀, since the crabbies need comfort to come out of their shell, look what house your moon is transiting both natally and in transits! ✨️🌛🌕🌜
@JillzGuerin Explains a lot why you love to read books about self help as well as being a teacher to others. Foreign places, foreign people and travel will be a great emotional reward for you too.
@JillzGuerin Well this upcoming new moon in Leo could be a fab time to manifest and jot down new ideas, goals, dreams etc regarding this since Leo/5th house also is involved travel, fun, exploration, adventure etc. 🌸🌤
This came at a great time for me because I have been taking an acting class lol it’s terrifying but I realized I have been using some of these tips without even realizing it. I love the reminder that we can be trusting of ourselves without being the best
I tried to study physics for 5 years and failed many exams and was never able to finish it. When I took a step back, I realized that finishing that degree required a huge amount of masculine energy. And while there are women who made contributions to science or mathematics as important as any man's, they went about it in a very different, much more feminine way. (Marie Curie, Emmy Noether, many early computer programmers, etc) Math and science are not inherently masculine or feminine, just as writing is not inherently masculine or feminine, but I was trying to go about it in a way that was completely against my nature. Of course I was miserable! Honestly, I kind of wish that all women's colleges still existed.
I recently found you and have gone through and watched every video and I’m obsessed and in love! You’ve definitely gained a new loyal follower, but can I just be annoying for a second and let you know that “anyways” is improper and should be “anyway”. 😂 so sorry to be that person but I’ve noticed it in almost every video of yours.
Hello!! Thanks for you videos they help to explain a lot ! I have a Q that anyone respond … I would like to know if being extrovert is being in my masculine energy ? And if being thoughtful is masculine too… sometimes I feel I need to be introvert to be feminine or not thoughtful because that’s the man thing or which is the right amount to deliver ? ☺️✨
I get Barbie vibes from you(in a positive note) maybe it’s the pink, your feminine energy. I think it’s more about the confidence you radiate 🩷 thanks for touching on being “different” from what it “means” being confident society. I also feel different, sometime I was always insecure about. But as you mentioned, everyone can be confident and trust themselves in their own way 🩷
Can you do A Day In Your Life video 🙏🏻🙏🏻😊
Yes please-include filming day, please
I’d love that too
Yes please!

Great timing! I literally woke up this morning trying to define confidence and had trouble doing it. No joke.
Apart from confident you are a very beautiful woman as well.
Thank you for your inspiring content🌹
