How to Set Up & Use Apple Pay Cash on iOS 11.2 (Full Guide)

- Apple Pay Cash is a new feature introduced in Apple's iOS 11.2 update. It supports any device running iOS 11 that has Apple Pay enabled. And yes, any gifts or payments received using this virtual card can be used at any Apple Pay location (or online), or be transferred to your bank. Full tutorial and details in the video! Currently only supported in the US. Available on iOS 11.2 on all supported iPhones and iPads. Also available on Apple Watches using watchOS 4.2
If you do not have two-factor authentication enabled on your Apple ID, you will have to do so to use this feature.

This update also comes with a host of new features and bug fixes that make it a worthwhile update. So, if you're thinking about upgrading, this is a solid update. Note: however, if you wish to jailbreak, stay on iOS 10 or below. If you are already on iOS 11, there is no harm in upgrading to this update.

If money was sent to you through Apple Pay how can the card be used to buy things online?
So I can put money on a apple pay cash card and go to the store and use it like normal apple pay right?

I’ve an iPhone 8 plus , and I can’t find the option for apple pay at all for some reason, i tried to look up the wallet app in settings but i couldn’t find it too !? Is there any way to fix this?

I think that Apple Pay Cash is awesome, I just love it. I have it on my iPhone 8 Plus and the feature is amazingly awesome.

doshpits , you cannot add more than $3,000 at a time, and over a 7-day period, you can only add up to $10,000.

Feature showed up earlier today, but service wasn't available. Now, the toggle has disappeared completely. Apple will probably roll it out in an update later this week?

I have the toggle and u see it in imassage and In my wallet but when I try to set it up it ways service is unavailable and I’m in the U.S.

You should be getting it eventually. Mine took a while to show up.

I don't understand why they would put a $10 minimum reload amount like they're Starbucks or something. PayPal allows you to send as little as a penny to someone and has the option to transfer money from your balance to your bank account instantly.

Tried it but doesn't work. Went through verification process with photo id and all I got as a message to contact apple support.
After two calls to Apple support we figured it out. My photo id has my full legal name on it as in John Quinn Public. The Apple id set up only asks for first and last name. But in reality I had to put my first and middle name on the first name line then my last name on the proper line. But it's working fine now. Apple tech said they need to add first, middle, and last name. It's also on my drivers license in ALL CAPS. Did that too and with adding the first and middle name it worked.

So many of these how to videos for this don’t mention that you can use Apple Pay cash card as an Apple Pay payment method. You don’t have to transfer Apple Pay cash to your bank to spend it.
Harry Solomon they don’t mention it because that’s comment sense. The name says it all “apple pat card” no shit you can use it as a card. Some people transfer it to their bank because not every place uses Apple Pay yet. I just found out 7/11 for some reason doesn’t yet.

If only it was available in Canada. It took a year for apple pay to come to Canada after it was released in the US. So it will probably take another year for apple pay cash to come to Canada

For people wanting to wait for 11.1.2 possible jailbreak, but want to use Apple cash...update to 11.2 then downgrade to 11.1.2 and you’ll still be able to use Apple cash in iMessage.
