Amazing house. One observation is that those living in the hills can easily climb up stairs because they've been habituated and trained throughout their lives. I was amazed to see women walking uphill carrying loads of wood and materials on their heads. This is the best thing about living in the hills. I love how people in the mountains have used natural and locally available resources to keep their houses cosy and warm.
Being himachali i always wonder our culture would decay with punjabi music, their heavy oil n cream based cuisine & tourism industry take by outsider..
But you my buddy give hope to humble himachalis that no we could still keep our culture alive & evolved in such way that it will remain authentic & modern enough to future gen...

As someone who needs to visit the bathroom 2-3 times a night, this house is not for me. Having said that, most houses in the villages were like that with detached toilet. And one's body might adapt to the situations eventually.
You can add bathroom both ground and 1st floor. That's not a big problem 😅😅

They come to Punjab and other states of India and buy properties but Punjabi or any other Indian cannot buy property in HP, this should be stopped.
This is to protect indigenous culture of Himachal Pradesh not for discrimination as there are some district in Himachal where even Himachali can't buy properties . Punjab government/ peoples himself offering their own land and that's why people are buying it.
