I love Chilla's Art games. This one was sad but it definitely seems like the dad in his grief went crazy and kidnapped an innocent girl before dismembering her
with all the picture location and the number of bags for one of them, im thinking maybe he placed different parts of her in different locations around the park

I don't usually get freaked out by horror games but when he got back to the apartment and back home, that really freaked me out. All of the jump scares omg
There are always those who completely ignore the fact that just because something can contact the dead, it doesn't mean it will contact someone specific.
Chilla's Art games always get really dark. Some of them have major twists, requiring you to really pay attention to everything to understand. Love these games, and loved watching you play Daz 😊😊

On topic of that Theory u mention; I agree I think he initially deluded himself into believing Manami was Mitsuka. But he must have known all along she wasn't. Hence the premeditated act of murder by Chainsaw? (No one has tht just laying around an apartment of all places) efforts of dismemberment and, then hiding her body parts. Also ofc ratting himself out to the Police. Perhaps he also thought thats what Mitsuka would hv wanted? as he sees her phoning the Police. I also thought with the dead grown Woman she must represent something like everything else does, like Mitsuka grown up? As u suggested. Either because he stripped himself of never hving the chance to see her grow up and, now it haunts him along side the fact he's kidnapped and murdered Manami hence, why the Woman wears his mask. But i wonder whether she could also represent how long Mitsuka's been dead? Which would indicate maybe a decade? Atleast. And thus his slow decline into insanity and alcholism, shown by the dozens upon dozens of scattered cans laying around and, major negligence of his apartment. In the end i don't think he just died of guilt although definitely huge part of it. As he finally sees reality for what it is. Represented towards the end as we only see Mitsuka after he puts down the camera. Thus the camera seems to represent his delussions (Manami) and putting it down as facing his reality.(Mitsuka/guilt) Why he also still sees that mascot even after putting the camera down. Like hes somewhat hving to come to terms with the fact he's a murderer. HOWEVER throughout the game he blames Mitsuka for these realisations, as "haunting" him. She seems to be used as a way for his guilty conscious to show up but also to hide it. Even as she wears his mask & holds his chainsaw. He's a coward to me that never once wanted to accept his reality or take responsibility even as he neglected what we only know to be his only child. And then kills himself just as u think he will have to do the time. Edit: It's also interesting how in reality a lot of killers do that. As in holding on to body parts & all sorts inorder to remember their crimes. If he on some lvl wanted to believe Manami was his daughter maybe thats why he chose to store the body parts around his apartment. As a way to remember her but, ultimately it acts as a way that also reminds him not just of her life but also demise. It breaks my heart that even at the end he still confuses the two girls. That Manami is rarely seen as her own person. It seems the only time he is confronted with Manami's identity outside of what he wanted her to be is when that poster comes through his front door. She doesnt haunt him as aggressively like his daughter does, she doesnt seem to weigh on his conscious like his daughter, outside of what she represents. His daughter in the end.
I am so happy! When I saw this it made my night I love Daz games. I have tried watching many other games but nothing hits the same as Daz your reactions to every game you play definitely brings me joy I really love watching you play games I mostly go on RUclips just to see if you posted a new game video. You know there's probably a website that similar to this game where it asks you to fill out certain questions about the deceased and probably pictures of the deceased and it uses AI to recreate that person and just calls it a site that allows you to speak to the dead or something like that to trick desperate people that miss their loved ones.
