Hey guys, one quick question. Is it okay that I only include timestamps in the description (so you can see them in the RUclips player) or should I also add the names of the themes in the video itself?
@@RockinRocketSciencenope, they share the same theme as every other song, they just change the pitch to sound more eerie. It’s the same rhythm and a similar enough flow/direction.
The thing that I love about Mario games the most, is that no matter how old they are ALL of them have iconic and catchy songs that just make me happy when i hear them. I hope the Mario series continues for as long as im alive, these games made my entire childhood and i dont plan to stop playing them anytime soon
No doubt! Which is why the NES super mario bros. "lost life" and "game over" sounds bites are currently seeing a resurgence in being used on social media.
This was the first video game I had ever fully experienced. This just brings back so much nostalgia. It makes me want to run up to my attic an set up my old snes to experience it again. It's just sad to know that I will never get the same feeling as the first time I played it.
I'm a lil envious to you. Back to 90s the snes was sold at $199 and super mario world was $54.99. it was almost an impossible dream for a poor kid like me to imagine playing smw in home.
To say I sat here in my living room -as a 36 year old man who grew up playing this game with my Dad- with a smile on my face and tears in my eyes recalling each and every place in the game these tunes are used would be an understatement. I never knew how much I missed my Dad until now. Thank you, seriously.
This is awesome! Thank you. And I'm not taking away from XiaoMigros at all, because this is awesome! But lookup Super Mario World Ending Theme sight-read by Tom Brier. Absolutely phenomenal. Unfortunately, he was in a car accident several years ago and may never fully play piano again.
A good way to teach someone music styles is this soundtrack, because nearly every song is just the same theme played differently (Major, Minor, Waltz, etc)
Mario is legendary, in fact all Nintendo made games are beautiful, fire emblem, Xenoblade, Pokémon, Kirby. It’s all great and makes me wish I was born earlier to witness the whole Nintendo evolution, and see how it all changed, I got all this from watching a piano tutorial, that is how you know it is powerful, thank you
Ah nostalgia~ Btw, maybe it is just the piano sound chosen, but listening to this arrangement really reminds me of the music you would hear over silent films.
That’s something that’s typical of Mario games from the 80‘s and 90‘s. Maybe in games post SNES as well, I don’t know those (only SMK 8 Deluxe on Switch).
Awesome video , you reminded me of how much this game really rewards you at the end with the credits and the little party with all the yoshis lol some games are just like "congraduration, your winner" lol
Bravo! The sunken ghost ship, sounded actually scary, and the Bowser over world sounded real good.Adding the special world Easter egg Mario Bros song was hot. I was hoping it was it going to be there. All and all the whole thing sounded fantastic.
@@Dylonely_9274 that's simple, classical music is juste richer than that. Look at a classical music sheet and something from nintendo, that's just totally different
@@nathankeraval6298 I never said that this is as classical music, I said that this the classical music of our era. Of course, classical music (16th-20th) is way better than this music, but nowadays there's unfortunately not classical music anymore. So I think Nintendo's music is very good for 21th music and imo among the best from the beginning of the 2000 until now. As a classical music lover, I can love this kind of music tho. I hope you understand me now, sorry ^^
@@nathankeraval6298 not what hes saying at all. Classical music has a certain style and so does nintendo music. It's very repetitive but also super catchy, and in my opinion a lot of it is better than actual classical music
This is so amazing! All the pieces sound super faithful to the orginal! I'm not sure how much work this would be, but I'd love to see a similar type of video for the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past soundtrack, they have some really nice tracks :D
If you haven't listened to it, look up; Tom Brier Super Mario World Ending Theme. This guy is fantastic at it and even adlibs half of it and it's amazing.
And it's really cool to play Super Mario World, all the Marios are unique, none of them, if you want, just my sisters, one day I'll get there, I hope I really love Mario Bros, the best game from the 80s to this day, my favorite❤
Every stage and castle song uses the same motif for the melody...hell I think even the ghost houses do too. They all just have the motif in a different style and a differing articulation of the notes played.
Loved this! I feel the bass is too loud in some parts of the Bowser fight, it drowns out the melody. Great work though otherwise. I'm really glad you did the Special World theme the right way. I kept waiting for the original Mario theme to drop haha. (But then I was like when does it move on lol).
Hey guys, one quick question. Is it okay that I only include timestamps in the description (so you can see them in the RUclips player) or should I also add the names of the themes in the video itself?
I think it would be better if you include the song name in the video itself since it is already separated into chapters
Time stamping each track is helpful for quick searching. Great job!
Maybe both
Please, both
Good that you did both.
What's beautiful is the fact that the entire soundtrack is made of different variations of the one single theme song.
I love the fact that they all have a central leimotif, like a common theme
Doesn't the castle and ghost house share a different theme?
@@RockinRocketSciencenope, they share the same theme as every other song, they just change the pitch to sound more eerie. It’s the same rhythm and a similar enough flow/direction.

Super Mario World is the Super Mario aged better, and its music don't make exception
