I see there are several questions about power output. Maybe I can clear up a few misunderstandings on this issue. The power developed by the amplifier is the result of the load vs the supplied voltage. In this case, the builder chose to label his 4 or possibly 8 ohm speaker as a 1 ohm speaker. Since it was inscribed by a Sharpie type pen as 1 ohm, I seriously doubt the genuineness of that load resistance. Lets do the math. With a 12 volt supply and a 1 ohm load, the formula reads P=E2/R. (E2 means E squared because I cant get the superscript to work on the 2.) 12 X 12 =144. 144/1 = 144 watts. It wouldn't matter if you had a 2000 amp battery, the output into this 1 ohm speaker is still 144 watts MAX. More realistically it is probably a 4 ohm speaker which would be (144 / 4 =) 36 watts. Yes you can smoke a 15 watt speaker with a 36 watt amplifier. It will take a while. I would have been more impressed if he would have put the speaker in a 1 cubic foot box, or thereabouts. It may have sounded a bit more impressive. To get 500 watts out of an amplifier to drive a 4 ohm speaker, you need at least a 45 volt battery or Power Supply capable of 12 Amps minimum. If you need a 1000 watt amplifier, plan on a 65 volt battery or power supply capable of about 17 Amps. But c'mon Technical DIY, don't try smoke your readers.
The dude is having a laugh, what's the point of a 1n cap in parallel with 3 x 0.25 R ? The transistor has no bias and will be running as a class C amplifier and the lump of Al it's mounted on doesn't qualify as a heatsink and don't get me started on the DC offset that will be applied to his 1,700 Watt 'speaker🤣

Pre normálne použitie je lepší klasický zdroj 12V. Kondenzátor by nemal byť priamo nalepený na tranzistore alebo chladiči. Je to trieda A, takže sa ohrieva aj keď je hudba potichu. Rýchlo sa vybije akumulátor.
