I was never a huge hot wheels fan as a kid but man I spent so much time playing with this play set! I wish they made something today that was more of a traditional city setting like this line, now it’s all giant monsters and robots and very few details or stickers. Wish I still had this for my kids!

As a kid, I remember always watching this and dreaming to have one. I never got one, I got a different one but it was still pretty cool

I was 4 years old when I got this set. It was the best toy I ever had growing up. The only thing I have to remember it was the video of me unwrapping it on my birthday and the excitement on my face is a picture. I couldn't make out the set name and I couldn't find any pictures of the right on on google but some how managed to find this video. Thanks for uploading. Brought back loads of awesome memories

Truly an upgrade to the Auto City Garage from 1995 due to elevator functionality and ability to access the garage without having to come up the down ramp.

Here in Ireland I had this as a kid, except the road sections were quite a bit different, the colour of them were a dark grey, and they interconnected in a different manner to these. Also different, was it had ESSO decals! Truely a memorable childhood with these sets, getting to manipulate the road sections in whatever way I wanted was really a bonus!
Phoenix C There were a few variations of this set. Even here in the USA I remember another version with slightly different pieces but the same basic design overall. I think it was called 'Auto City Garage.' And like you said, I'm sure there were other European variations as well.

I saw that this set in Europe and it had ESSO branding for the gas station part of the set back in the day.

This was the first thing of Hot Wheels I ever got. A good chunk of my basement was dedicated to all the Hot Wheels track and buildings I had. I loved Legos and Barbie, too.

I had a hot wheels garage set that was very similar to this as a kid. Only it was green and didn't have the sounds. Layout was very close. I do remember this set though.

It’s such a shame that mattel doesn’t go back to these high quality toys nowadays. Because putting effort into a property is hard. Also, you don’t want to use up that money you get back in returns from high quality toys. That’s certainly asking for too much. But enough sarcasm, I enjoyed the review.

This particular set is pretty old. It's from the 1990's, so they can't be found in stores anymore. I found mine on eBay many years ago, and a place like that online might be a way you could find one.
I have seen your big hotweels city but you dont have the old hotwheels drag strip includes a shop and finish whit working wining flag 1 flag up and other down so the up wins

I had this growing up in Mexico in the late 90s, but I remember the blue parts being green, i wonder if that's s Mendella effect going on. Sadly it is lost, pretty sure my destructive self broke it or something
There were two different variations of this set, and I believe the green set was the earlier version. Very similar, but I remember the green set didn't have an elevator and had some different track pieces, among other differences.
