    "Yo, dawg, I heard you like grapevines".
    1:45 'I Want To Do This Keep': "Hey, you stole my beat"!

    This looks like incredibly good practice for the 17s full of scoobies, like London EVOLVED C. I've been waiting for slower charts to use these types of patterns.

    Chart mostly flows, but after playing it myself there are 2 gotcha moments to look out for:
    - Combo 193 (0:53) -- hit this RIGHT arrow with your right foot. Most do this naturally, but if you've crossed over everything up to this point, step 192 is a LEFT freeze arrow with your right foot on it, so you'll have to double step.
    - Combo 345 (1:25) -- hit this LEFT/DOWN jump crossed over, i.e. right foot on left arrow, and hit step 348 with your right foot. Chart writer should've extended the freeze one more arrow for this to make sense.

      I didn't actually realize 345 was ambiguous - I just naturally always hit it crossed over lmao

    Proper foot placement is everything. Got some swagger in this 15. I want to try it barless. It looks super fun

      Does everyone do ghost steps at combo 417 and 436? Even for the first time seeing this chart, it comes naturally

    Good practice for Vanessa and Lachryma

    This song + chart and Stay Gold are both amazing after those series of weeb songs that kept coming out.
    (Don't worry Megalovania, I acknowledge you ❤️)
    Great practice for crossovers!

    Love how the chart opens with an 8th note version of that one 12th note crossover run from Zeta CSP; finally, a chart where I can actually practice for that trippy crossover stream of the latter. The whole chart itself is good intro practice for all of those 16+ charts with complicated scooby & crossover runs.

    You only need to know three things to execute this chart perfectly:
    1) Never reset to facing forward when there's a break.
    2) When there's a hold, pretend that its length is infinite (so use your other foot next).
    3) Exception to rule 1: You reset to facing forward at combo 192 (0:53). I like to side switch that left hold but do what you want.

      For those who want a live demonstration, Yuisin made a 'how to execute' video of this song.
      These are the same rules I use for 'Wonderful Night (Radio Edit)' on DDR Extreme 2 for PS2. It has become one of my favorite songs. I love songs that twist you from left to right. I'm sure that when I get a new pad and DDR GP, I'm going to enjoy this song.

    Nice Pump It Up chart!

    The 12th note patterns towards the end reminds me of the PMSO crossovers where you have to start the crossover with the opposite foot. I love this song and chart.

    For the record, the 12ths in this song are as fast as Arrabbiata's 8ths. So it's not *that* hard to doublestep, though doing the twists looks to be more fun.

      Too slow to be a 16. Maybe if it was 175.

    • @hnkul702
      @hnkul702 2 года назад +4

      The twists come in 12th notes and not 16th notes, and at 150 BPM, they're equivalent to 225 BPM 8ths, which really aren't that bad for 15s. The 16ths are also mostly just drills. I'd find something like NEPHILIM DELTA to be harder than this personally.

  • @anthonystudans67
    @anthonystudans67 2 года назад +1

    In theory this is a great chart, but in practice it's so slow that everyone is just going to doublestep everything because it's not really worth learning how to properly position yourself for the crossovers. If it was like 180-200bpm it could make a nice 16/17.

    • @familyguyfreemoviedownload8314
      @familyguyfreemoviedownload8314 2 года назад +9

      i mean yeah when i play this for score im probably just gonna doublestep it but if i ever want to practice scoobies forreal it’s important to have slower charts as a stepping stone to the 17+ charts where doing them is actually necessary

    • @DeshaunXD
