Would the cyc x1 pro gen 2 still be a good option with a bac2000 if I had an excellent drivetrain that could handle the power? Has the motor kit been reliable enough for you? How is the lighting rod motor compared to the cyc x1 pro? Thanks
Awesome build! What is your drive train setup. I'm in the process of building mine, and am worried that 5kw and 250Nm is going to break chains, derailleurs and brackets!
Dude i am peaking at 4kw and it is much more than enough. i think it's the sweet spot between reliability and power. chain wear is MINIMAL, cassette is also ( and the worst case i have 2 extra laying around, each was about 50$, so im not even worrying of them going bad ). i will soon post a COMPLETE GUIDE to the perfect diy emtb setup, after clearing all my newbie mistakes.
