bAeSUHn iS RAd I can' believe I forgot to mention that 😣 it doesn't have a strong smell. It actually kind of smells like petroleum jelly but it is very subtle. Thanks for asking I meant to mention that.
I bought mine from wish.com on December 21 and it got here on January 20. So 1month. Although, I think some of the EBay listings I saw said they had faster shipping times.
Moonlit and Polished why do u call it dupe? I got samples 1 oz from china got the 3 colors it's really thick all I had to do is pay $39 for shipping....I got the brush top and base coat and a nail polish...ordered wed shipped Thursday and got it today April 23rd.
The brush care!!! Wow mind blown 🤯 I use acetone on my brushes and couldn’t figure out why the tip was starting to curl slightly. Thank you so much for this simple yet SOOO helpful info
I have wondered about these. I've seen professionals use them in videos on RUclips but your reviews are more helpful! I've seen many on Wish (I'm addicted), but never knew which one to try. Thank you soooo much!!!
loved every single thing about your video and your style. very personable, very clear and well spoken. I'm really excited to try to find these products and try at home
I just LOVE you and your channel you are soooooooooo informative about these different brands and show everything. I was just wondering if you ever thought about doing a full set with one brand and the fill with another brand to see if that would work or how they act?
Oh my goodness! Thank you for doing this! Ordering some dupe tonight! I was gonna order Madam Glam but they’re out of every friggen color. This looks like the best dupe yet.
Sam Hugh Your welcome! I wanted to buy madam glam too and had the same problem, huge bummer. I definitely like this one best of all the ones I have tried so far. I have a few more that I bought to try and review but they are taking forever to get here. I honestly don’t think they will be better though. I hope you like yours 😊
Moonlit and Polished, I just ordered it. Receive date is April 15 to May 1😳😬. Bummer it’s gonna take so long, but hey, great savings! I’m gonna get that little clip thingy as well, and the lady bug cuz it’s so stinkin cute.
They have it on their website at ecnails.com! The kit for 26.00 comes with your choice of 1 out of the pink, white, and clear polygels, your choice in color of a gel polish, your choice in color of a dipping powder and the top, base, and activator, a mini sunuv lamp, the brush/ applicator tool and I ordered the French pink for an additional $1.60! Thanks for this review! For anyone who is concerned, I was able to get a copy of the msds through a link on the website.
Lela Robinson I got samples from that company...1 oz got the 3 colors it's really thick all I had to do is pay $39 for shipping....I got the brush top and base coat and a nail polish...ordered wed shipped Thursday and got it today April 23rd....it has no odor and used alcohol to apply.
I love how detailed you are when explaining the steps... I feel empowered to do my own nails. Would you remember the brand of your gold glitter nail polish?
Maggie n Max because the original polygel was created and sold by the brand Gelish and costs about $60 a bottle. I was looking for a good copy cat polygel that was more affordable.
Those clips are awesome. Just found them on eBay too. Thanks for sharing that. I ordered a few dupes too and working on filming the videos. I already filmed Vernalisa polygel. I just have to edit it.
Love your videos! Thanks to you. I’ve ordered a bunch of poly gels and tools on AliExpress! What’s your favourite poly gel in white? Ordered the clear and pink in Gelike thanks to your recommendation, please help me pick a white. Thanks all the way from Mumbai!
Thank you so much for all of your Polygel Dupe videos. I really appreciate it because the name brands cost too much for my budget and I'd like to know what to expect from the dupes. 😘😘😘
OMG could you please try the focallure poly gel dupe, it's really cheap and I've haven't seen any reviews on it yet, I would love to see a review on it before I buy it.
What would be your favorite clear polygel that you think would be best for encapsulating glitters?? Thank you so much for your videos. They're so informative
Thank you for doing this video on Gelike. I probably never would have tried this brand since it doesn't seem to be as popular as the other dupes, and honestly I think it's one of the best ones! I love love it compared to all the other dupes I tried. I only wish I had found your video series before ordering the other ones! I also wanted to let you know that the pink color I received was the soft pink instead of the peachy one, although both pinks were in the pictures there wasn't an option to choose between the 2. Which I thought was odd. I ordered mine from aliexpress, but Gelike has their own website ECNails.con (I think that's the website) any way, I ended up buying it from aliexpress because it saved me money with free shipping. One of the other polygel dupes I tried and liked was called HoneyGirl. I ordered it on Amazon for under $6, but it is only available in the 30g size. Its softer than Gelike, but it wasn't sticky or runny at all. I used 91% alcohol with it and had no problems. I also ordered tubes of Yinikiz, but they haven't arrived yet. If you haven't ordered that brand yet, let me know and I'll let you know if it's worth your time and money! Thanks again!
Rachel Maxwell I did order the yinikiz. I actually think it is in the mail but I am too lazy to check, lol. Thanks, I am really happy you enjoy the series 😊
Could you do inlay w/ popits? I just started doing dip nails and it’s cool, but these look awesome. I have thin nails too and this seems like it would be stronger than the dip.
I’ve never done polygel before, but I’m going to now! I have the gel, a brush/paddle tool, and the pop its. Do I need anything else? Do I need to buff the nail before applying? Thanks!!
A super magical and easy to use product! It more flexible than acrylic, stronger than hard gel, and lighter than both. The poly gel have perfect transparent, not turn yellow. It can use for nails extension, real and natural. What’s more, 100% organic, don’t have any odor. Received a lot of praise after everyone try to use it. Welcome to visit our gelike store
I've been looking at the many polygel dupes on Ebay lately, most of them are between $3.00 & $5.00 US, come from China and can take anywhere from 3 weeks to a month or more to get here. I'd like to try it now that I'm in to gel nails and dropped the acrylic after 30 years. I've been using IBD pink builder gel, which has been perfect for me. My nails have grown out nice and long, curved, just like I like them and I've never taken this gel off, just keep doing fills when needed. They look just like what they are: my real nails. Even my husband thinks they look so much better than acrylic. But then the polygel came out and. me being me. I just have to try that too. Now that you've given us some dupe ideas ( I've seen this brand on Ebay), I'll have to break down and get some to try out. Great video and looking forward to Part 2!
Dawn de la Morte there are sooo many dupes out there. I think it may be early to say that gelike is my favorite. It definitely is for now. My goal with these videos it just to show which are actually dupes and which are just regular gel in a tube. One set I ordered had actually popped in the mail. I didn't even have to try it to know it was just regular gel.
I have heard that even with Gelish Polygel, tubes pop easy, which is why they include that key thing with their tubes. I'm the kind of person who's always been in love with makeup and nails, my parents stuck me in Cosmetology school when I was a senior in high school. I only needed 2 classes to graduate which gave me most of the day to get into trouble. This was a viable way to keep me out of trouble, doing something I loved. I ended up going to college to study makeup, got degrees in glamour and theatrical makeup and got a job. Eventually, I moved to California ( that's where my husband was born) and went back to cosmo school to get the extra hours needed for my license. I decided to just take a manicuring class. Tammy Taylor gave a class one day, I also got hooked on Back Scratcher nails as well and off I went. It was "The heck with hair, it's all about the makeup and especially the nails", so I have to try EVERYTHING new for nails. Unfortunately, I've also still got the makeup bug as well and have to check out any new makeup that comes out. I still do my own hair and my husbands but I've always said "When I die, the rest of me may look like crap but my nails will be perfect!". Damn, I don't know where that all came from but anyway........ if I could blow a hundred bucks on all the new polygel dupes that I've found, I'd do it in a heart beat! And then probably go right back to the IBD gel.
I totally get it! I love trying new products even if I never used the brand before. I always get way into my hobbies. I knit and love buying yarn but I almost never keep the stuff I make. I usually sell it to feed my yarn addiction. It's the same with my nail stuff. If I make any money from RUclips, it goes straight to nail polish and makeup. I should probably film another makeup video to validate my recent ulta spree 🤔
I totally get you, as well! It's too bad we didn't live closer together. I don't knit anymore but I make jewelry, I have more supplies than I'll use in my lifetime but I always buy more. I also draw and paint. I used to hit up the drawing pad sales at Michael's, bring them home and shrink wrap them for later use, same with drawing pencils, Prisma colored pencils, pastels, ink drawing pens, you name it, I got it. Do I use it? Once in a while when the mood strikes and once I start something I don't stop until it's done. I love to craft, too. You name it, I'll want to make it. There's just not enough time in a day to get everything done that we want to do, right?
Love the video . Just got my Gelike in today. Do you have to use a bonder or can you just cure it without it ? Also I️ saw someone use a base then cured the gelike on ? Is that necessary ?
Ashley Madison you don’t need a binder. I do recommend thoroughly cleaning the surface of your nail with alcohol or acetone so that there is no oil left on the surface of you nail before applying an product. Using a gel base is up to you. It can make removal easier depending on what you use. I hope this was helpful.
This has been so helpful! I’m going to try the Gelike dupe as an overlay for my very thin nails. You mentioned that you got your tube off of Wish. Do you recall the seller’s name? I put in an order but I’m hoping that I’m not sent the wrong product. Thanks for all your work and a really honest opinion!
If you just bought it on wish.com you should hurry and cancel the order. I bought mine from the seller name EC Nail, which is actually the company that makes it. I don't trust any seller other than them because I had tried to order the other colors from other sellers and was sent a different product. Here is a link to their website where you can be sure you are getting the real thing and it is $11.88 right now :) store.ecnail.com/product-category/color/poly-gel-color/
Hmmm, it shipped already! At any rate it will be a learning experience. I got some poppits in the same order and used a discount code so the total was under $20 including shipping. Definitely planning on deleting the Wish app, though!
Yeah, Wish sent me the garbage dupe instead of Gelike (I don't think it was even a gel!). Fortunately, they refunded my money and I purchased from EC Nail on AliExpress. Very happy with it and learning fast, but my nails don't have much of a C curve. Which poppits are best for that condition?
I have noticed that some sellers on other websites are using the pictures of gelike while mailing their customers other products. To avoid that happening to anyone watching these videos please buy directly from EC Cosmetics. They are the makers of gelike. here is a link (not an affiliate) store.ecnail.com/product/poly-gel/
I don’t know if I hear it right, can I use alcohol instead of slip solution? I ordered from aliexpress the gelike clear tube, a lamp and basically everything but not that slip solution D:
So by readying your comments if I'm using gel polish on these polygels and I want to take it off, it may take the polygel nails off too. How can I get around this as I do like to change my gel colours at least once a week. Thanks for your help, I'm learning.
I tried dual forms and I got so much gel under my natural nail, no matter how much I cleaned it. It's so uncomfortable - any advice? Also, do you have a video about how to size the dual forms? Thanks!!
I ordered the clear (but they sent white) and i used a dehydrator on my nail and isopropyl alcohol for the slip and it just keeps popping off or you can peel them off... any tips?
ashley vandenhout ashley vandenhout Oh no, sorry, that sounds frustrating. I actually just did a video on their pink and white polygel ruclips.net/video/laqCR7axPEo/видео.html in it I explain that the had a white polygel that doesn’t cure as well. I was told they came out with a new formula but I haven’t tried it yet. You could try working in thinner layers or even mix in a clear builder gel to break up the white pigment. I hope this was helpful.
Do you find this gel to be better in any way than Happy Gel? I've been using Happy Gel for about a month to overlay on my natural nail to strengthen them. Like you, mine grow, but are weak and my hands are in water a lot because I'm a hobbyist baker. I'm wondering if you find this product easier or harder to use or if it's about the same. I like to keep my overlay fairly thin so my nails look as natural as possible but I need them to be strong. Thanks!
SewrealCraftyGirl Yay! I am so glad to be able to help out a fellow hobbyist! I can honestly say I like it better than happy gel and it is easier to work with. It has a more putty like consistency which I think is more durable. You even get the same 2 oz that you get with happy gel. I use my hands for all kinds of crafting stuff from knitting to furniture remodeling so I also need some thing strong. I hope this helped you 😊
Moonlit and Polished so when I go on eBay I punch in US sellers I got some for now to try but... It was only 16grams, And. $9.00 each. It came in a week. Another seller sells a kit of pouts, And. A clip for 7/8$ And. I got a brush/spatula like yours for 7 .00
tmcdgreen it’s been such a long time since I have worn acrylic nails. I can tell you that this gel (gelike) feels harder than regular builder gel once it has been cured.
sugdensandra 😂 she is a very good lady bug and she is great for vacuuming drawers. Here is a link to where I got her www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MU3HSK2/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Venalisa is amazing I'm a cleaner a acrylic and gel usually break in a day or 2 and the dual forms with venalisa polygel is still on 2 weeks later and they look perfect. Couldn't have made a better nail on a form or with tips
How long do they last, I do alot of dishwashing at my job and whenever I do my own nails be it glue ons or cheap polygel they won't even last a day without piping off.
Thetriggered One I got one form AliExpress by the name of "poly gel yayoge" and baught the full kit, didn't get the top coat or 2 brushes that were supposed to be included but the poly gel is nice to work with except white because it doesn't harden. It comes with Dule forms, 3 gels, 4 brushes, top and base coat, and slip solution when I used a dehydrator it lasts at least a week and a half and that saying something for me.
aziza davis im a stay at home mom for a 1 year old and I also help out my 85 year old mother in law. I do a lot of washing and cleaning around the house. Right now I wear press on's but I want to transition to something else so I can grow out my nails. A week and a half seems too short, im wondering if gelike stays on longer.
Thetriggered One I think it definitely will stay on longer than press ons, my only suggestion is if you can wear golves when you wash dishes and to prep the nail try to keep it out of water like a half day b4 you do your nail rough them up and use a dehydrator under your base coat.
Thetriggered One it will definitely take some time to get used to I've done them 4 times with the above mentioned kit from Ali Express and I still bulid then alitte thick, but you will want at least an hour and a half to sit down and do them.
Which slip solution works best with gelike polygel? I can't find one, and I've tried Yoyoge's, which was very difficult to apply but lasted long, and URsugar's which was easy for application, but nails fell off next day.
Dorothy Kanzas I generally use 91% alcohol but I have also used the gelish slip which works great Hand & Nail Harmony Gelish Polygel Professional Nail Enhancement Slip Solution Nail Liquid, 4 Ounce www.amazon.com/dp/B074DHHZ2B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_8J8JBb7M4AKCM
Have you tried Rossi poly gel? I wish I would’ve found your videos before I purchased. I haven’t received it yet so hopefully it will be an ok product.
Also, P.S. you have a new subscriber here! You’ve done exactly what I’ve been looking for- thoroughly exploring dup options. I’ve had a hard time finding that. Excited to watch more of your videos! What do the clear clips do exactly? Just help to hold the pop its on, or what?
Alma Nicole the clips just hold the pop it and help keep it from moving. I find they are most helpful with thinner gels. You don't really need them with real polygel or gelike because they are so thick they barely move.
No problem. Also, I would check to see on Ebay where they are shipping from. That should give you an idea of how long it will take to arrive. I just got the pink and white that was mailed on 3/7/18. Those were sent from their wedsite store.ecnail.com/product/nature-clear/ It's a little tough to navigate and the translations could be better but the tubes are only $11.88 there right now. The shipping label says that it came from Singapore.
Neisha Ramos it is a born pretty 5ml Soak Off Gel Glitter Rose Gold #10. It takes a while to ship but I think it is gorgeous www.wish.com/c/58355a6a79d1395ca26a4cc6
I couldn't wait to try polygel so I ordered some cheap stuff to try. What a sticky mess! Didn't cure properly. I was using UR Sugar Quick Building. So disappointed! I'll try working with it again, but sure glad I didn't pay an exorbitant price for it.
Sally Vang yes, the gelish dehydrator, I think it’s called phBond 🤔 and the IBD bonder which is actually a primer. I always get confused since the names both include the word bond but they are different things.
I do have a lot. I am currently trying to see which I prefer. I have some nails that curve more than others and not all pop its fits them. Right now I am using a mix of a few different ones. I just need to find one that works with my ring finger.
Sammy Jo it is a born pretty 5ml Soak Off Gel Glitter Rose Gold #10. It takes a while to ship but I think it is gorgeous www.wish.com/c/58355a6a79d1395ca26a4cc6
What is the “foundation” what do I need it for since I was going to buy the fantastic four. Do u have a recommendation for where to buy the dehydrator?
Actually, if you buy the fantastic four you will have everything. The base is actually called the foundation and the ph bond that comes in the set is actually the dehydrator I use. I bought my set on amazon. There should be a link for it in the description box. It is a great set which I highly recommend.
Ok, I kinda thought so on the bond - dehydrator. I am using all the links you provided (thanks) & I do hv that fantastic four in my shopping cart. Thank you for your quick response. I’m looking forward to watching the next tutorial.
I’m assuming ordering on eBay is the fastest way to get this, yeah? I’ve never ordered from AliExpress or Wish myself, but have heard that it does take a while (2 weeks to a month, like you stated. I am too impatient for that!! Haha).
Have you tried the venalisa polygel dupe? It is the most popular but it is not particularly easy for ME to use (personally). I was wondering how this compared to it. If it is better I'd purchase it in a heartbeat.
Dr.4c I ordered it but was sent a different brand. I plan to order it again. From what I have seen the venalisa gel really thin. My plan with these videos is to show which dupes are good and worth the money and which are just regular gel sold in tubes.
Moonlit and Polished thank you so much for doing this!!! I was hoping someone would make a series or video like this because polygel is stupid expensive. MVP!
I used to use this cheap generic one that I got off of wish but I didn't like it. Now I use this one which works soooo much better www.amazon.com/Gelish-Pro-Bond-Non-Acid-Primer/dp/B004NMRJ82/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1522845425&sr=8-1&keywords=harmony+probond
Erin Whiter it is different because it is more of a really thick gel. So far it is my favorite of the dupes because of how thick and easy to work with it it. Although, someone messaged me to tell me that the other colors don’t cure well. I am looking into getting them to test out as well.
Two weeks is the longest I have had them on. The second video in this series shows the removal process if you are interested in seeing it. ruclips.net/video/ZUlX1RPwzhw/видео.html
Your video felt more like a basic tutorial more than a review. I'm not sure if you intended it that way but the title had me expecting more of a review. Obviously it's your video and you should do it the way that pleases you but I'd like to suggest that when trying a new product if you're trying to give the viewer a sense for what it's like maybe instead of just saying this is what I did try talking more from the standpoint of what did you expect from the product before you received it, how was it like your expectations, how was it different, what did it feel like to work with, how did it surprise you, and when working with dupes for other products maybe include a summary at the end comparing the two(is one stronger, is one easier to work with, which one will you use more going forward) all just suggestions so no hard feelings if that's not the direction you want to go with your videos but I enjoyed this one over all, maybe just try some new stuff and see how it feels for you
ToeBeanz thank you, I am always open to constructive criticism. I thought the video was exactly as you said it was. That’s why I tried to be much more in-depth with the ones that followed. I tend to forget that you guys aren’t in my head or able to read my thoughts. That’s how I end up leaving out information. I’d be happy to read any other notes or suggestions you have if you decide to watch any of my other videos.
That gritty is acrylic.. Which is what poly gel really is . Acrylic and gel mixed..That stuff is just gel.. (I'm to tired to read comments..I'm sure someone said that already... ). Lol...
Do you find it has a particularly strong odor?
bAeSUHn iS RAd I can' believe I forgot to mention that 😣 it doesn't have a strong smell. It actually kind of smells like petroleum jelly but it is very subtle. Thanks for asking I meant to mention that.
Also, how long did it take to arrive? Thank you :-)

I love Gelike I’m new to Polygel, but I do like this brand, it’s easy to apply and easy to remove to, it soaks off very easy 👍🏻, great review 💖

damitalj no, I hadn’t 🤔 that is definitely something I should try. Thanks for the suggestion 😊 and your support
I would love to try this! Beautiful, natural looking nails!
Girl!!! Thanks for this it's My favorite dupe! I got mine on Ali express and luckily not a private label! I will be ordering more!!
Oh my goodness! Thank you for doing this! Ordering some dupe tonight! I was gonna order Madam Glam but they’re out of every friggen color. This looks like the best dupe yet.

Moonlit and Polished have you tried blue sky gum gel.....it’s great stuff!! x
Kim Barrett, where can you get it in the US? I can’t find it.
Sam Hugh gelnailsuk on eBay 😊 x
love the brush cleaning tips! thanks!
The polish on your other hand is super cute! ❤️ Thanks for sharing!
Love the clips!! I have to get some of those, I found some on e-bay. I've already got a couple of boxes of dual forms from my acrylic days.
thanks for the tip on how to remove color without removing the gel.
I have watched this video like 10 times I can't get over how beautiful your nails come out! I hope I can do as good a job when my order comes in lol.
The gelike is stocked again on wish. 😊 thanks for the video, great work.

Thank you ☺️ the polish I was wearing is from born pretty but I can’t find it on the website anymore. I’ll let you know if I see it elsewhere.
@@MoonlitandPolished thank you, and keep up the awesome videos 🙂
Im glad I found you randomly. You never showed up under short natural looking nails. I have a question, why do you call them dupes?
Maggie n Max because the original polygel was created and sold by the brand Gelish and costs about $60 a bottle. I was looking for a good copy cat polygel that was more affordable.
Those clips are awesome. Just found them on eBay too. Thanks for sharing that. I ordered a few dupes too and working on filming the videos. I already filmed Vernalisa polygel. I just have to edit it.
Love the background music, love watching your videos, could you make a tutorials about stamping and nail designs. Thanks
Your nails are beautiful to start with!! But I love the gel too 😊
Thank you for the review! I just ordered the translucent pink!
That’s so cute, I’ve never seen a vacuum like that.
Thank you so much for all of your Polygel Dupe videos. I really appreciate it because the name brands cost too much for my budget and I'd like to know what to expect from the dupes. 😘😘😘
tfs. this seems to be the best of the dupes so far.
Wow!!! I’m a new subscriber & I am loving ur tutorial’s. You are so helpful, thank you!!
OMG could you please try the focallure poly gel dupe, it's really cheap and I've haven't seen any reviews on it yet, I would love to see a review on it before I buy it.
If you are talking about airgel (which is sold on focallure) here is a link to the video I made ruclips.net/video/lJShz9KaKWk/видео.html
Love your videos!!!! And I’ve seen the ladybug (and others) vacuum at Walmart for $10
Thanks! Im a baller on a budget!! Lol I guess on ebay its bumped up to $16 now
Kathy Cervantes you can get it at AliExpress 4 bucks for the 1oz and around 11 for the 2oz and brush
18$ now 😢
Frugality still 5 bucks on AliExpress I got to gels and the brush for like $14
What would be your favorite clear polygel that you think would be best for encapsulating glitters?? Thank you so much for your videos. They're so informative
Adriana Kazmeroff the makartt clear has a nice clarity that would be great for encapsulated glitter and you can buy it on amazon
Rachel Maxwell I did order the yinikiz. I actually think it is in the mail but I am too lazy to check, lol. Thanks, I am really happy you enjoy the series 😊
Thx for the tips I really enjoyed your tutorial
Can you try and review Vorini Polygel ?? I just bought it and would like your take on the product. Thank you!!!
Could you do inlay w/ popits? I just started doing dip nails and it’s cool, but these look awesome. I have thin nails too and this seems like it would be stronger than the dip.
Della Jones Yes, you can. That’s what I do and my nails have grown out beautifully. And since I use clear, I can go without nail Polish if I want.
Moonlit and Polished Thank You!
I ordered this on wish and they sent me the CLD polygel poop dupe you reviewed 😫😫😫😫 I can’t believe they did that to me.
They did the same to me, I took a photo and notified them, They refunded me right away.
I love prisma colors! think we might be the same person 😂
the best ive seen with popits so far
Which bonder do you prefer to use?
Please try Rossi, I’ve been seeing it all over my Instagram sponsored videos but no actual reviews
Nice products thanks for making this video!
Have u tried Venalisa- AliExpress?
Hi tell me if i have to work with this poly gel in my salon ,how must i do to cure one by one or how must i do please can u help me.thanks
Moonlit and Polished ok thank you so much !! Im excited to start doing my nails !! Your videos are very inspiring and helpful !!
I too purchased on Wish. I hope it isn't bad and is a soak off.
Kim Mcfarlane on curious too
Hello, is the gel like bottle full or is half full?
Can you do one on the vernalisa polygel? It’s on AliExpress for 5 dollars!
I tried dual forms and I got so much gel under my natural nail, no matter how much I cleaned it. It's so uncomfortable - any advice? Also, do you have a video about how to size the dual forms? Thanks!!
I ordered the Gel-like. I've been using the Venalisa brand, and I'm hoping the gel-like will be firmer in texture.
Hi, did you review their new formula for the white?
Ada Okeiyi yes her is the link ruclips.net/video/r0TFZ2mChJ8/видео.html
I hope this helped you 😊
Great to know thanks! Glad I ordered some! Thanks for another great video...looking forward to part 2. :)
Moonlit and Polished but on wish, And. EBay it takes a month OR more right
Kim Mendonca yes, that is the downside. I have gotten a few orders sooner than that but this one did take 4 weeks.
Moonlit and Polished so when I go on eBay I punch in US sellers I got some for now to try but... It was only 16grams, And. $9.00 each. It came in a week. Another seller sells a kit of pouts, And. A clip for 7/8$ And. I got a brush/spatula like yours for 7 .00
I don't see the bonder you listed. What is a good bonder brand?
Here you go Gelish Pro Bond (Non-Acid Primer) 0.5 oz www.amazon.com/dp/B004NMRJ82/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_wto4BbY1J72YD
Does poly gel feel hard like acrylic after curing when you tap your nails, or does it feel like hard gel?
tmcdgreen it’s been such a long time since I have worn acrylic nails. I can tell you that this gel (gelike) feels harder than regular builder gel once it has been cured.
I'm looking for were you got lady bug I like it
Can you do a fill in with this poly gel?
Gerannie Michelle yes, I have do a fill several times with a few of the different ones I have tested.
do you have a video on that? just subscribed!!
Gerannie Michelle No, but thanks for asking. I work on getting one done soon.
OOh yea a fill video would be great!
I must have the ladybug where can I get it at please thanks for the video also very informative
sugdensandra 😂 she is a very good lady bug and she is great for vacuuming drawers.
So which one you like best out of the dupes you reviewed? Cuz I'm debating between Acrygel or gelike!. Thanks for the videos 👍👏👌❤️
My favorite gelike but I would buy acrylgel because the shipping is faster
Moonlit and Polished thank you so much for replying❤️ I'll give it a try I'm new to this and I'm exited to do my nails at home 😊
How long do they last, I do alot of dishwashing at my job and whenever I do my own nails be it glue ons or cheap polygel they won't even last a day without piping off.
aziza davis great question. Bump!
The brush looks wet. What did you use to wet the brush.
Aamyie Ecker sorry, it took me so long to answer. I used alcohol 91% to wet the brush.
Moonlit and Polished thank you so much.
Love this! Acrygel from Amazon!!
Can you try a poly gel dupe under the brand name Sugar??
Have you tried Rossi poly gel? I wish I would’ve found your videos before I purchased. I haven’t received it yet so hopefully it will be an ok product.
ChanelleLC I haven’t tried Rossi but I have seen ads for it on instagram. It is on my list to try.
How long did these last on your nails? Did you experience any lifting or breakage?☺️ xxx
Also, P.S. you have a new subscriber here!
Moonlit and Polished makes sense!! Thank you for the insight. :)
What kind of glitter polish do you use
Neisha Ramos it is a born pretty 5ml Soak Off Gel Glitter Rose Gold #10. It takes a while to ship but I think it is gorgeous
www.wish.com/c/58355a6a79d1395ca26a4cc6
Stink Allergy? Thanks 😊
Giulia Gagliardi no smell.
can I color the nails with gel polish,
Sandra Castillo you can. I have done it. Just know that when you go to remove the gel polish the nails may come off too.
How long Does the gel polish stay on? I have used gel polish over dip nails and it peels off quickly
I like the gelike so far
I couldn't wait to try polygel so I ordered some cheap stuff to try. What a sticky mess! Didn't cure properly. I was using UR Sugar Quick Building. So disappointed! I'll try working with it again, but sure glad I didn't pay an exorbitant price for it.
How long did it last and was there any major lifting or tripping or cracks
Love Mufasa I have worn it for 2 weeks with only minimal chipping and no lifting. I could have worn it longer but I wanted to test some other dupes.
very useful video dear
Question. You used dehydrator and bond?
Sally Vang yes, the gelish dehydrator, I think it’s called phBond 🤔 and the IBD bonder which is actually a primer. I always get confused since the names both include the word bond but they are different things.
i can never get my sidewalls covered... my nails are always super thick as well. do you have any advice?
hoekage I watched another lady that says to use a bigger poppet so you can get your sides covered also.
okay, just a matter of finding it!
hoekage ruclips.net/video/MRmC0XDTagI/видео.html
What’s ur preferred poppet style? I see u have so many different kinds
I do have a lot. I am currently trying to see which I prefer. I have some nails that curve more than others and not all pop its fits them. Right now I am using a mix of a few different ones. I just need to find one that works with my ring finger.
Hi, what glitter you've got on your thumb?
Sammy Jo it is a born pretty 5ml Soak Off Gel Glitter Rose Gold #10. It takes a while to ship but I think it is gorgeous
www.wish.com/c/58355a6a79d1395ca26a4cc6
Moonlit and Polished thank you and I believe you.
Those clips r genius
I’m assuming ordering on eBay is the fastest way to get this, yeah? I’ve never ordered from AliExpress or Wish myself, but have heard that it does take a while (2 weeks to a month, like you stated. I am too impatient for that!! Haha).
Nice work
Have you tried the venalisa polygel dupe? It is the most popular but it is not particularly easy for ME to use (personally). I was wondering how this compared to it. If it is better I'd purchase it in a heartbeat.
Dr.4c I ordered it but was sent a different brand. I plan to order it again. From what I have seen the venalisa gel really thin. My plan with these videos is to show which dupes are good and worth the money and which are just regular gel sold in tubes.
Moonlit and Polished thank you so much for doing this!!! I was hoping someone would make a series or video like this because polygel is stupid expensive. MVP!
Moonlit and Polished do you find that these forms are pretty straight? A lot of forms I've seen curve downwards which I hate.
They do have an arch but they don’t curve too far down.
Would you say the Gelike needs to be filed off or soaked off?
Candace Hood you can soak it off but filing is faster.
What kind of Bonder do you use?
I used to use this cheap generic one that I got off of wish but I didn't like it. Now I use this one which works soooo much better www.amazon.com/Gelish-Pro-Bond-Non-Acid-Primer/dp/B004NMRJ82/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1522845425&sr=8-1&keywords=harmony+probond
Moonlit and Polished tnxx
Do you find this similar to gelish polygel? I'm trying to find a cheap dupe with similar consistently and results xx
Erin Whiter it is different because it is more of a really thick gel. So far it is my favorite of the dupes because of how thick and easy to work with it it. Although, someone messaged me to tell me that the other colors don’t cure well. I am looking into getting them to test out as well.
A big thank you for doing this video! I have now received my gelike and am in love! It is exactly like my original polygel!
Gotta have the ladybug!
Good job .
I just love ur 💅...💗💗💗💗
How long does it stay before they pop off ?
This was the first of a 9 part series of dupes. The whole series helped me so much! I thought the comparisons were great!
That gritty is acrylic.. Which is what poly gel really is . Acrylic and gel mixed..That stuff is just gel.. (I'm to tired to read comments..I'm sure someone said that already... ). Lol...
WROKGODDESS ...i did in my head haha
just ordered
Mizhse poly gel on aliexpress
That’s nice
