    Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included ruclips.net/user/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.

    Working a similar for first time and found this invaluable. More than just the info and tips, seeing how an experienced person preps the job and angles the sprays is just as useful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Thank you for explaining what exactly is veneer. I had no idea. I just thought it was a cheap piece of laminate stuck over any type of wood. I always wondered how the expensive pieces of furniture could get away with saying that it has veneer. Also, what would be a household alternative to mineral spirits?

    • @ARayofSunlight
      @ARayofSunlight  4 года назад +1

      Christina Muscari thank you! Yes! The white poly is the only way that I’ll paint anything white anymore. It’s so stinking easy and creates the perfect finish. Have you ever tried to spray?

      A Ray of Sunlight Only once...I have a Wagner Flexio 3000. Watching you and Katie it’s inspiring to try to spray more. It’s so hot and humid here in Tenn. I think I’ll wait until fall.

    So this being black poly, does it behave like paint? Love this !! You have great tips!

    • @ARayofSunlight
      @ARayofSunlight  3 года назад +1

      Hey Kathryn! It's a lot more thin than paint, and it dries a lot faster than paint. So you can't brush it on like paint. But other than that I feel like it's like paint. hahaha

    The dresser turned out so beautiful. Great idea leaving the drawers natural. I’ve always done my furniture painting with a combination of brush and small cigar roller but just got a Wagner like you used to use since I need to paint 6 old dining chairs that have a lot of little details. I am not sure if I can use primer in my sprayer or if I should hand paint the primer. What do you think? And then do I need to put a finish over my final paint color? Thanks in advance for your advice.

    • @ARayofSunlight
      @ARayofSunlight  3 года назад +3

      Thank you! I'm so excited for you! I personally don't put my primer in my paint sprayer because I don't want to have to clean the shellac based product from the sprayer (I only spray water based product to keep it really easy to clean up). You can purchase primer in spray paint cans if you don't want to hand paint it on.
      Putting a finish or a topcoat over your paint depends on what kind of paint you use. If you use the kind of paint I used in this video, you don't need to topcoat it. Actually you shouldn't topcoat it. But if you use a chalk paint, milk paint or acrylic paint, I would topcoat it. Hope that helps!

    Hello. I’m thinking of using this paint for a table top. Now do you have to use a top coat? Or is this paint a poly due to the name of the paint? Thank you in advance.

    • @ARayofSunlight
      @ARayofSunlight  2 года назад

      It’s more like a topcoat that’s tinted. But I’m sure you could topcoat it mind you wanted to.

    How does this dry down? Does the finished product feel hard? Or does it stay tacky for a while? How does it hold up long term? So frustrating when you paint something and it stays tacky or never dries down hard enough!

    • @ARayofSunlight
      @ARayofSunlight  3 года назад +1

      Hey! This paint isn’t tacky. It’s dry in an hour, without being tacky. Actually when you sand it between coats the dust is very powdery.
      You should let it dry for about a month before it’s completely cured and as durable as it’s gonna get, but that’s pretty much the same with all paint.
      As long as you prime it first with BIN, it holds up really great overtime!

    How do you spray the front of the dresser without getting it everywhere inside ?

    • @ARayofSunlight
      @ARayofSunlight  4 года назад +1

      Diane Alves I dialed down how much paint came out of the sprayer so it sprayed less on those skinny areas. That’s one thing I love about this paint sprayer compared to a cheap paint sprayer. I have way more control over how much spray comes out.
