Hi Shozi , great video I’d like to know so is the a time period for being with your family ? Like a year or 2 years also are you able to study while being an au pair or after ?
Hi babes! In the Netherlands you can only be an au pair for 1 year only then after that you can consider changing your status to a student visa if you’re interested in studying or whatever else, but you cannot legally be an au pair for more than 1 year here. Hope this answers your question 💗💗
Hey Shozi. So I’m stuck- I don’t have a passport and visa and I’m not really sure how to go about with this. What do I do,do I apply for a passport and visa at the same time??
Do you mind sharing why you send your documents to dirco? And also how your visa interview went? Maybe covering all of that in one video. I'm currently busy talking to host families and I'm going to start with my documents soon
@@kiki_4131 hiii Kiki !! As far as I know DIRCO puts some sort of stamp on your documents to make them legal. If you skip this part, you will have trouble in either applying for your visa or recieving your residence card once you’re over here. And about the interview it was really fast. They don’t “interview” as such. It’s more to confirm that you are who you say you are and then they take your passport in to give you your visa :)
@@Shozi_05 thank you sm for this, I've watched so many videos about becoming an Aupair abroad and not once have anyone explained that in their videos. 🙏🏽
Ok mina ke from SA needing some sort of child support. I wonder if we can say I want a south african black 😂 to the agencies here in NL. Totally not supporting the purpose of aupairing i.e cultural exchange
Right. We are sort of in the same boat, you want someone black from Southaaa, and nna I just turned 25 in September so I can't even try to jump on the application process.
@dimphoditlopo3620 yeah man. Although a dutch aupair will help them speak the dutch language and get familiar which maybe would benefit them at school. Mara yoh I don't want them to not have something familiar besides their parents who anyway are working.
I love how you are taking us through your journey of being an au pair❤❤❤
Omg you’re here already ?!!!! Girl you QUICCCKKK WITH IT 😂😂😂
@Shozi_05 notifications gang gang. I'm always looking forward to your videos ❤️
Also with DIRCO if you can travel to Pretoria and do it for free you get all your things back on the day, BUT YOU MUST TAKE YOUR DOCUMENTS YOURSELF
Thanks for sharing ❤❤
