A master electrician taught me how to install an 8’ ground rod without a hammer at all‼️Simply pour a small amount of water into the hole as you poke the rod into the ground. In areas with a lot of rock, code allows the installer to lay the rod horizontally into the ground trench near the conduit.
What sort of pipe are you using that does not require the use of primer to clean the the pipe and soften it so the glue can fuse the joints together good? Seems that would be important to get a good seal to keep water and dirt out of it.
Used both! Anytime using rolled bore pipe it doesn’t adhere to the pvc fittings very well and these little screws help to keep them from separating! They do not go all the way through the conduit but barely pierces the rolled pipe!

Doesn’t the number six bare ground cable , must be a green colour xrpe 600 V insulation cable or the electrical inspector would fail it ?
