    Rod/reel combo with fishing kit as an emergency setup ruclips.net/user/postUgkxntWMOZsO1Zfv-pdn_XuffEtNkTYAYu4Z recommend but started to use this every day. The rod is thick and seems durable. I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.

    All my mates have had trouble with maver poles as in breaking sections. Diawa is the best pole for the money at the moment.

    Wonder how many these companies sell at that price to make it viable. Does look like an incredible pole though.maver have lead the way with kit packages recently too.

    Had a crappy avanti 16 metre pole 8 years had 17 lb fish on it never broke it is qiete heavy but I've seen 500 pole snap all the time on smaller fish

    Great assessment however now you have tested Diawa Air Z Pro, Guru Aventus 900 and now Maver Mv-Rxx pole, if I had £4/5k to spend what would you invest money in.
    Carp and silver catch I do throughout the year

      Invest it into crypto currency instead…in 5 years time your ‘investment’ will be the same as the pole - worthless

      @septicsceptic419 they were that is true. I had Diawa all my life but no matter of the model number 4's are wafer thin and break to easy. Last 2 Poles been a Signature Pro 900 and Super Lithium absolute brilliant would never go back.

    4k for a pole....come on guys moneys tight at the min. I know your pushing all these new top end poles but jesus its too expensive plus youd be shittin your sen if you break it or it gets stolen. Na mate not for your normal anglers mate this. £800 should be a top end price

    I can absolutely promise you that fish don't give a flying f*ck about your pole, whether you call it a superpole, ultrapole or something else (hyperbole might be the better phrase). Nobody should be paying £4k to present a bait at any distance, Jesus just USE YOUR BRAIN.

  • @robertedmunds2394
    @robertedmunds2394 2 года назад

    You don’t have to pay that money to land big fish.
    I paid about £500 for a matrix MXT 1 at 13Metres.
    On Tuesday at monks lake in Kent I caught 32 carp including 16-1/2 15lbs 3-14 lb plus and 3 other doubles. I used Preston dura slip 17 with matrix 12 banded hook and baby corn. I’ve had many double up to 17-1/2 at monks.

    If your a professional I could probably say it’s worth it but honestly …..
    Preston X70 is undoubtedly not as rigid. However if you target commercials and your budget is below £1800 then X70 is perfect for you. The top kits are £55 - £65 and compatible over all Superium models.

      @@thejoker7323 found my maver abyss free from a family member when he was throwing it out and its taken some absolute bashing the last few years and its still in great nick, got 5 kits for it now and never thought id ever get that amount, don’t see why people are hell bent on ultra light poles but fish at 10m when the older margin poles post 2010 (maybe) were both still stiff and fairly light. Universal top kits and cutting them yourself must save about 30-100 a top kit yet its never really impeded my pole fishing if anything its more my fault in not improving, the fish dont care if youve got a second hand free pole or a 5k top end one it’s about understanding the company’s aren’t offering value for money anymore to the regular pleasure pole angler like they used to before it all took off now its all aimed at the ones who win tournaments not even just club or general open matches
