Tank doesn’t hit hard. He just hits accurately. Many fighters can attest to this including Frank Martin recently. Tank just catches people clean. When you have a fighter like Loma whose constantly feinting, changing angles, and combination punching, tank is going to get uncomfortable, especially when it gets to the later rounds. Tank needs to knock him out early or keep up the pace with Loma for all 12 rounds, otherwise he’ll lose by decision. I think Loma is the only 135 pounder that has the highest chance of beating tank. He has every advantage at his disposal, high boxing IQ, footwork, wrestling background, experience, and durability. People forget, this guy was originally a 125 pounder, fighting weight bullies his entire professional career; of course those dudes won’t get knocked out. Also Loma is comfortable at 135 now, so any rehydration clause tank gets him to do makes no difference to him. Loma won’t be drained or weak on fight night. Styles make fights, you don’t beat tank by trying to knock him out, you beat tank by out scoring him in points. Tank is too patient, relying on the KO to save him. He can’t do that with Loma. I can’t stress how big of a risk this is on tanks clean record. He could literally tarnish his legacy from this fight. I’ve been watching lomas fights recently. The more I watch them, the more this fight becomes 50/50.
Fact: All the top P4P fighters are in their 30s. Fact: Loma has not shown any signs of slipping in his last few fights. Fact: Davis has fought nobody with anywhere near the skills and experience of Loma. Just saying.

Loma has the patience and watching out for counters, moving in angles and staying off the ropes, using distance, hitting, and moving. Power is not intelligent tank just waits for his shot with Taylor made opponents that come forward. Wait until they counter the counter. Jab and out, 1,2 and out. We all have seen him do this for 12 rds with hard hitting opponents don't even touch him. It is a good fight, but I can see tank getting frustrated from all the movement and the waiting game

Which top fighter Tank fought has fast hands, combinations galore, the best foot work, level changes, ability to change tactics on the fly and increase in speed and intensity as the rounds progressed and who no ones beats in accurate punched out put? Listen I'm a tank fan but Tank hasn't fought any fighter that was an actually threat or was on the same skill level as him and that's a fact. Garcia was the biggest threat and he was weight drained. Loma is a technician in there...Tank usually likes to study his opponents until he can figure them out....what if he can't "figure out" Loma?
