Thank you, seriously, thank you so so much. For some reason the knockback thing didn't work on first phase, but it did on the second. THANK YOU! You really helped me out
It didn't work for me but what DID work for me eventually: 1) Take a break. Honestly, it's kind of amazing how effective that is, even if you don't wanna hear that right now, try it. 2) Stamina maintenance. Whatever your stamina is, never let it run out completely. Hit a few times, roll away, then keep backing away until you find your opening to hit them a few times again without ever running out of stamina. 3) Stage 1 - keep backing away and circling and choose your openings to attack, preferably while Watcher #3 is keeping the main dude busy. (Or his friend) 4) Stage 2 - the hard part, but not so bad once you do this and keep this next part in mind, dodge everything. Block if you got a shield but preferably roll if you can get the timing down -- do both, just stay alive. Pick ONE attack that he does that you can comfortably dodge and hit him a few times and only attack him after that sequence of attacks. IF YOU CAN break down the fight into logical steps like this and treat it like a dance almost, it's way more manageable than like... just spamming buttons and trying to panic dodge everything. Panic is the opposite of your friend in this fight. If that doesn't work, I really hope the cheese worked for you, it didn't for me, but if you take one piece of advice from this just pay attention to his moveset and find an attack that you can hit him 2-3 times after dodging it every single time, and honestly you'll beat him once you do this. You have to break it down into pieces, if you don't, you're going to just figure this fight impossible or a matter of luck or something, it's really not even that bad if you just break it down.
i dont understand either its the 4th boss if you also fight curse-rotted greatwood and crystal sage which are insanely easier, yet abyss watchers is absolute bullshit

@@Tizona I’m level 83 now and I’ve been using the Raw Astora Greatsword because of this. It just kicks so much ass, especially against in game invaders. The knockdown loop is too real w this weapon. I tend to hit them until they die. Funny how people find this boss hard, different playstyles = different results though. I have always found this boss easy, Aldrich is a different matter though.
@@FlammableRadish I always use a npc, they provide a good distraction and I believe it makes the games more interesting since you often have to alter your playstyle to keep the npc's alive. Her summon sign appears to the left of the entrance to the boss room. Londor Pale Shade - if you have 5 dark sigils from Yoel of Londor and are on good terms with Yuria of Londor. Irithyl Sword is also good choice, considering its fast moveset, you could land more hits in attack window thus dealing more damage.

Thanks a lot took like 20 tries got him eventually

What armor makes it to where your moves don’t get canceled

Equip the wepon with both hands . On ps4 press triangle while only equipping the sword in right hand .
my friends say the abyss watchers are the bess boss in the game but i think they’re absolutely horrible
I agree
That's your opinion my opinion is they are awesome
He was actually easy after i started dodging away from his attacks. I always dodge at the attacks and his fire hit me because of that.
why doesn't he fall down when I do it?
Make sure you’re fully charging the attack, if he’s not falling then it’s because you hit him during an attack where he can’t be stunned.
