Luna Parks Ranger only had lap bars too... but that was such a tame ride. I'm old enough to remember the big dipper at Luna park. Can't wait to see their new coaster but I have a feeling it's not going to be as intense as i'd like lol
@@bma04w18 They are so anti filming though even with a go pro chest harness. I mean if the go pro was fine on no limit, the beast and xxxl I don't think we have a problem with your kiddie rides Luna Park :P
I got footage of the best cycle I've ever been on.... on this ride today... it was awesome I usually think this ride is tame... well they showed me 🤣 couldn't keep my hands in the air the whole time... it was a cinch to do that the whole ride on the beast today.
This might be an unpopular opinion but I like this ride way more than the Beast. Sure, the Beast goes higher but it is also slower than Freak Out and you just can't throw your hands in the air in enjoyment on the Beast.

@@Arcadeangelyt That new pendulum ride looks intense and cool though. And yeah the Ranger was fine to me since it was indoors and super slow.

I’ve been on KMG’s Freakout since 2005 in America with over the shoulder restraints. The lap restraints don’t seem safe enough in my opinion.
True but Adelaide's rides always have shoulder restraints. The lap bars look unsettling.

Lap bar is secure it's just your upper body that can move.
It does make the ride slightly more intense than the same ride overseas with a harness.
