People are hating but I LOVEE this game. The combat is so fast and enjoyable. The boss fights are insane (2, and 4 are my favorite) I haven’t played much of matterfall but housemarque always delivers fun games but they leveled up on this title.

Hyperion is my favourite - the boss giving you such a frenetic over the top fight, playing the organ at the same time. Insane game, and such heartbraking story, I cried several times during gameplay. Will definitely remember this one forever.
@@epyon7773 It took me ages to get those bas-stad keys. One of my lowest points while playing the game was getting two of them and dying when I had one last enemy to kill to get the third and getting killed - I only had to hit them a couple more times {:o|
@@Dreamskaype it was hard for me because I tried to jump straight to it every time. Apparently you’re supposed to do a near full echoing ruins run before you do biome 5 and 6. And once I did that I blew through the game pretty fast.

I thought this was the hardest game to be released in a long while but y'all speedrunners are ruthless. The devs will never sleep thanks to y'all and I love it❤🤗. The war between devs and speedrunners will never end😂. Both sides keep bringing the smoke.
Great playing! I just came to see biome 3 to get some inspiration and tips because i am completely stuck there but still having a lot of fun the game play and combat is super addictive.
If you’re really having trouble. Do a half run through the jungle before you teleport. Gain efficiency, health and money buy a thing or two and then teleport to your biome. I had to do that for the mountain. Had a good run and that one fortified run got me all the way to biome 5.artifacts and weapons can make or break for me. I usually try to buy the Astronaut, a health consumable and the integrity 25% or regen. Also if you come across the parasite that gives you critical regen at the cost of damage from long falls get it. It saved my ass in the boss for that area. (Tip just dash before you hit ground and there’s no long fall damage) 😃😉 good luck
@@epyon7773 thanks for the tips. i have adapt my playstyle now using more melee. there is for melee this upgrade that will shoot two lasers to nearest enemies every hit wich is very powerfull. Also i have the running on and trying to be agressive and on the move all the time. got to the nemesis third phase, i will beat this game.
@@tomisalonen8029 you will you’re getting there man little over half way. I didn’t know that about the melee artifact I never seen that I’ll try it. The ice ruins or whatever usually have a lot of melee upgrades. Games not easy, love it though

Now this is a proper speed run! I haven’t been enjoying the sub 5 minute runs with just last the last boss. This was such a pleasure to watch. 2 points: 1) that damage at 1:08:46 is such BS! 2) Also used electropylon driver for biomes 4-6. I doubt I would’ve finished this game without that gun and its traits. Well done!
I'm not new to souls games but I'm new to rogue lights and man am I struggling in this game. Nice run and this encouraged me to go back and play this on my new oled

I had a ton of health too overal really good run. Was frustrating but this the first time I’ve been “stuck” this part has been difficult but I’ll get it. Then it’s just the water biome left

Like, looking down looked like sure death and I kept going in that room like wtf. Oh, I come across this other door often and it says something like “ unknown amounts of enemy behind this door and you can’t leave until you clear them” what do you get for clearing room? And should I do it before or after first boss?
I don't know why it never occurred to me to just skip past general enemies. Then again, I haven't even gotten to the second boss yet, 'cause I'm terrible.
I am curious at certain parts 1:13:20 you shot the enemies then ran but they were still alive and you needed to kill 10 enemies to remove the malfunction and it was at 8 then 9 and 10 as you were running away? They were at full health. Are you modding? There was a lot of questionable things like the consumable health packs appearing and I didn't see you get them.
good playstyle...i was wondering how you got through 3rd biome but now I know....just leg it through the area past most enemies...honestly it's a nightmare and Im' leaving it a while but it's a good approach because it's too much with the drones.
dude I beasted through the drones with the rotlobber but maybe I should of switched to the pistol for the boss because I've lost to him twice and it's been so long between those runs
Only if combined with a shield, or the artifact that allows you to take an additional hit before losing Adrenaline levels. Otherwise, one hit means zero adrenaline = no leech. hurts during boss fights.
How is the routing going in terms of weighing bypassing everything, sprinting past enemies Dark Souls style as often as possible vs going for specific upgrades that might save more time in the end?
I went deathless fresh start. 1st completion was 3.5hrs, my 2nd which was last night was 2hrs 53 mins. Aiming to get it down to 2 hrs. No revives via equipment or items. Great vid, very motivational. You should try a true deathless speedrun

Tbh there is a lot of small changes you could make like on the giant guy who’s supposed to kill you just run into his face and don’t shoot him also don’t scan the cursed key as it isn’t needed
It is, actually. This game is pretty damn hard, and punishes you like the game wants you to die of rage. I spent 2 hours on a run and my game crashed sending me right back to the beginning :)
You have amazing skill. Watching this speed run, I'm feeling like this game actually disincentives staying and fighting mobs. Like, if one gets to the next biome, and their Proficiency gets bumped up 5 levels, then why grind? Kind of heartbreaking, in a way.
this. its a lot of deciding trades offs and what fits your playstyle and ultimately you soon realise its just as much about having the nerve and skill to dodge attack patterns etc i dont bother to grind myself...
Some of the grinding can't be skipped. Like weapon upgrade progression and loot. If your skill is ovet the roof like this dude's is you can skip that, if not you gotta hustle!
I only watched till you finished off the 3rd boss being that’s where I’m stuck and don’t want any spoilers to the rest of the story and Biomes. But what would you say are your primary focuses in your cycles?
Melee a ton in the first biome. Eating time with bullets from a pistol slows down the pace for what could be a bad run anyways. Faster first biomes = more opportunities for better runs

Keep practicing. I started like that. Now I can do a full run through the game. The accomplishment of learning the game mechanics is super satisfying. After some practice, what is a truly challenging game can feel easy.

There's a setting to change things you have to scan into just a press, pretty sure that would save you a bit of time to switch on
