Hi Sarah love your progress on your family pieces Endor is really coming together very well. I went to Stitchery Express and it is only 5 minutes away from my home and when I went there for the first time all I can say is WQW!!!! This store has everything and a whole room full of material, patterns everywhere from a to z. I love it. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
It’s amazing how a bit of stitching daily can give you such progress. Endor is almost done! Looks really good. Have a good week with lots of stitching. That’s what I’m planning on doing!🤞🏻
Hi again, enjoyed seeing everything that you have been working on. You have really had a productive week. You seem to get so much done. Everything is looking so good. Have a great week, see you soon.
Just catching up on your videos and saw you were going to work on the stitching sampler Monday and Tuesday. I am so behind on the sals I need to keep up on, so will pass on stitching with you this time. 🙂 Wow on your progress on Those Who Sing! It looks so good. Also Visit Endor, you’re almost done! Happy summer stitching! 💕🤗💕
Wow Visit Endor looks fantastic! Great progress! I focused on the rose on Summer Montage this week - I’ll avoid the confetti heavy corner as long as I can!😂😂
@@zook717 😆 At least now I have some bits lower down in that block already taken care of now, so I shouldn’t have as much confetti when I get down to the lower leaf areas.
There is tours for around 6 months of the year. Hubby loves watching it 🙄😂 but the Tour de France and Spain for the longest ones with Italy and Greece? Next at 2 weeks. Plus the women’s ones if your ever looking at wanting to do this with other pieces throughout the year. Always enjoy your videos. Happy stitching
@@aussiestitcher1699 Wow! I had no idea! That’s good to know. Sometimes I don’t have time for extra stitches each day, so we’ll have to see how I do with this August one. The school year will have started by then, so we’ll see!
@@FrostyXStitch I really enjoyed working on my alphabet this week! I put it on the short list of things I’d like to try to finish next year. Without that girl, the finish seems much more reachable!
I did manage to get mine out yesterday. Unfortunately that part of the pattern is not aligned very well and therefore pretty difficult to work with in PatternKeeper (the rest of the pattern worked well, it is only the last 3 letters). And of course the paper working copies I made are cut off where I need them to fit together 🤦🏻♀Never mind, I'll get that fixed today before stitching. I can see myself finishing the letters maybe even this week. Then I have the butterfly, the bunny and the dove with the flower/grass patches to do. I did start a Prairy Schooler with Shelley last week, very spontaneous ☺but good fun as we where messaging each other and substituting flosses we did not have and then saw that they did not make sense in the pattern 😂We did start at the same time though, which was huge fun❣ Also summer arrived two months late and with a full on heat wave🥵 I envy you your air conditioning 😉 Happy stitching my friend 🥰
Hello Sarah, I do enjoy your progress on the number of WIP’s you have. I was like you when it came to a lot of white until I first sewed Guardian Angel, (Lavender and Lace ) white with a small amount of grey in the wings, for a friend. Then I sewed Angel of Grace (L and L) for another friend. However, the main piece where I got over my white stitching phobia was when my partner asked for Angel of Winter (L and L) to be framed in a fire screen. Lots and lots of white, and I think I removed and put in parts of the wings several times on that one. So, yeah, white, not a problem now. I would not advise this to you, but it is how I got over it. Currently working on Christmas Elf - Nora Corbet - and Fern - Nora Corbet, but I have changed the colours in the shawl to go with the theme. I am not able to concentrate on the number of WIP’s you have, but I have five on the go at the moment. One a day, and two day break. Well it is a good theory. 😊
Great progress on all your projects! You have enabled me to purchase Visit Endor 😂 I just love the way yours is turning out. I’m about 1k stitches in on mine.
Have you considered doing the Stained Glass cardinal in black evenweave or Aida? It would shave years off that project because you could skip the black altogether, and it would look impactful.
@@LCmonman I considered that, but I don’t think I’ll like the look of unstitched black on a stained glass piece. The black portions are the outline and in real stained glass would be raised up more than the glass, so I think it would look odd having those bits down lower. I do have another piece where I won’t be stitching the black, but that’s got it in the background, where it makes more sense to remove it. 😊
Hi Sarah! I have a question about the Montage patterns. Are they only available in kit form now? Also they say they’re done on 14 count Aida. I really like your count of fabric better. Also were they available in PDF files? If so where can I find those? Thanks and love your videos. I get so inspired by your stitching and planning. ❤️❤️
@@carollee4520 You can find the Montage kits on the Janlynn website, and yes those are just with 14ct fabric. I am stitching a larger, full coverage version that has been charted by Paine Free Crafts. They are a UK company and you can buy PDFs of their patterns directly from their website. They are compatible with Pattern Keeper as well, which is great! painefreecrafts.com/?post_type=product&s=Montage&product_cat= I hope that helps!
Hello Sarah , Wow projects are a moving 👍. Question's: Verdal stretchy if you would use a qsnap or hoop. And how would you serge fabric if you don't have a sewing machine . Scored 40ct fabric and has raw edges. Thanks
Verdal can be a little bit stretchy, but as I have not used it in a Qsnap or hoop, I'm not sure how it responds to those. If you don't have a sewing machine, you can use a whip stitch around the edge of your fabric, or fold over a small edge and baste it down. You could also try something like Fray Check, but that may work better for sewing fabric than our looser woven cross stitch fabric. I hope that helps!

I use those little sewing clips. One on each end to keep my roll of fabric from unrolling. It is so nice to see you. I always enjoy your visit.
So good to see your progress every week, Sarah! Those Who Sing is working up so nicely, as is everything you stitch!
