Fished that side many a times. All the time I seem to catch pike . Kinda thinking there would be more variety considering the structure in that area. Who knows though maybe just haven't found the walleye and perch on the side.
We fished there this Spring and had pretty good luck with walleyes actually. Haven't been back since. We were just using jigs and minnows in about 8-12 feet of water on the west side of the West Cove
@@AlbertaAngling yeah I've only fished west cove in winter. I've heard from locals though the fish in that lake move alot . For instance : I've caught many a walleye in the narrows in summer and then in winter I've caught only pike in the winter there. Could be the same for west cove the walleye move there in the spring . Either way good videos I like to watch the locals fishing this area and posting nicely produced videos .
