That ROP needs to be adjusted properly in the App. This is making it look horrible. I had some settings in my last UAF/ROP build video on it. It can stutter like that at the end of FOC pretty bad (like it was in the vid.) I ended up putting it on Komodo for the motor type as well. Great looking build though overall. Love the body detail, a page out of my own book with the panel liner! Great series here… you’ll never get your filthy hands on my rigs though… “muh ahh haah ha!”

I love that pancake motor but a FOC system is just so consistently smooth with the same amount of trigger pull. That rig has a lot of very very good parts but that doesn’t necessarily make it automatically perform great everything has to mesh & work well together. Overall it seemed like it drove well & looked great out on the rocks. To send it to someone to test is kinda cool because it gives you a different perspective.
Great series Trey! My man should have used the taller front body mount that comes with the chassis and wouldn’t have had to double stack those mags. Overall a lot of nice parts on the rig just need some fine tuning and a diet!
Would be fun to see you make a trx4m build using that body, I think it would be helpful for the trx4m community since there isn't much options for bodys for us. Other wise I'm looking forward for part 2!

I went to rocks that I often crawl so I had an idea in my mind for which lines are harder & easier which is kinda hard to get across to viewers. I dont even know if what I just wrote made sense or not. Im not quite sure on what the drivetrain issue was, some of the comments were saying the tune, the gear mesh, or the motor in general 🤷🏼♂️

That’s how my furitek lizard pro was with my ROP motor as well… it won’t even be under crazy load and it’ll stick like that and get bindy, switched too a rockwolfe esc and been buttery since

I suspect most of what you were experiencing with motor stall/jumpiness was simply from so much weight overtaxing the motor in FOC. This can be minimized or even eliminated by lowering the final drive gearing and/or removing weight.

Pancakes are cool, I dont like the purple ones as much as the orange ones. The lack of smoothness is a combination of settings in the controller but the motors higher kv is not ideal, you can set it up to crawl its just not the best motor IMHO. Most of mine are heavy I'm not going to lie to you at all about 550 and up I do have some that are less and it's all about weight distribution everybody knows that we all know that but running any type of hard body up top I feel like you're definitely going to have to throw a little bit more weight and it
100 that is the tune he has on that motor man but the ROP does load up you guys got to think about this the magnets the back burn the there's so much that goes into those little Motors and just listening to homes you know the harder the motor is to turn the more torque you're going to put down without a shadow of a doubt the bam is the strongest motor on the market 100 % but also if he don't have it set up perfect are the tune perfect it could just be that or he could have something binding just a little bit when you can freeze spin those Motors really easy you'll notice they don't put off as much torque that's where I found a multiple geared transmission besides stock really increases the torque on the motors
I would be soooooooo mad if i dumped all that money into a crawler like he did and it sounded and performed like that. He would have been better off going with an FMS ESC/receiver combo and a brushed motor.
I'm not going to knock them let's just say I've had a little bit of trouble out of ESC now I'm running big kid tiny truck ESC you need to check him out straight up fire you can run brushed or brushless also you can tune through the Wi-Fi link it is a little bit different you do got to unhook the ESC and plug it into the Linker but they run so much cooler when you're really pressing stuff and it's hot check them out man big kid tiny truck bktt

I become very biased against a rig when I see it has brass sprung weight (like a brass transmission housing or a brass skid). It's just wrong and doesn't help. Mofo and some others have sold a bunch of them though.

Ive actually found my lighter ones seem to be more capable in most situation. Brass knuckles/diff cover (front) and really thats all...

One of your fms transmitters might work better than the furitek and it should bind right up. The Rop motor is jumpy from what I've heard
