I had to do this for all my windows! My auto windows weren’t going up just by hold the up switch. Then I did this trick on all my windows and it reset them now my auto works on all my windows! You were God sent
Tried this on a Freelander 2 , held it for 6 seconds but didn't work . Tried it later but held it for over 12 seconds and hey presto , all working . Thanks for posting .
Had this problem on my Freelander 2 , car was iced up after a sharp frost. Like an idiot I went to drop my drivers window and window wouldn’t work. Expecting the worst of spending money on getting it fix thought I would give this a go..... held it for 6 seconds and fingers crossed it worked.... the smile on my face said it all... thanks for the info 👍
This worked on my Velar as well! My drivers window was rolling up and down but the automatic one click feature wasn’t working, after I fixed my electric door handles. Thank you!!
Wow! amazing. I went out and bought plastic tools to reove the door card. BUT you guys shown me the anti trap pinkies problem.......hey presto....1,2,3,4,5,6....I didnt hear any clicking either but the window works now. Yes! Job done, Fixed. Many thanks for the ace vid
On my D4 there was a soft click almost straight away on holding the up switch with the window at the top. This was the reset. The same click can be heard on your video... I don't think you need the six seconds (well I didn't anyway) Thanks for the vid lads :)
Nice one - this drove me crazy last winter! You guys ever root out the cause and solution for Evoque window rattles? Stops when you drop window a few cms....Love the videos - much appreciated!

Brilliant, works on a Discovery 4 rear windows that would close then open half way. The trick was two nudge it shut and the start the hold process described in the video.
If only my wife was so easy to please... its her birthday in a couple of days. I think i should have been looking for presents rather than fixing cars !

my lr3 the back windows dont go down. After about 5 or 10 min of the car being on they sometimes will. ill give this a go on the back to see but where they sometimes work idk. anyone had this problem?
hi there ,i have a problem with front passenger window on my 2005 range rover ...its come down about 4inch from top of door and its stopped there ,it wont go up or down , can anybody help me to fix problem ..as car is vulnerable to be broken into ,, ime desperate for any help you can provide ,,, thanks
ian reed check passenger side (right side North America) carpet. If wet, you have a red and white wire that is more than likely corroded and not connected anymore. Remove side sill and locate wire. Caused by sunroof drain tube leakage

Drivers window goes down in stages. Same going up. Tried anti-trap trick - doesn’t solve the issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated 👍
Disconnect the battery -ve and leave it 10 mins... worth a go !

I have followed your instructions, but it does not work yet and cannot automatically close/open the power window.
You could try to disconnect the main battery and leave it for 10 mins then reconnect the battery
