    So how much taxpayer money was used in that study?

    Many "know it alls" are only called that by other people. I was called that in school merely because I never raised my hand to answer a question unless I knew the answer. I never raised my hand just to make a wild guess. I know what I know, and I know how much there is that I don't know. I'm past 70 and learn new things everyday.

    I worked with a guy who actually made knowing little or nothing work for him. Whenever you asked him a question about his job, he'd say either 1) "I never practiced that area of expertise," or 2) "I'm not going to do your job for you, go ask so-and-so." And he got away with this for years until he finally got a boss who wouldn't play that game, and know-nothing quit a month later. Kind of reminds me of an inverse Frank Abagnale ("Catch Me If You Can").

    If corporations and local companies want to hire immigrants, then they should pay higher taxes that can be used for the security of this Nation. The government has been lax on this issue and it definitely needs to be addressed. Oh and restrict these businesses from raising prices because they're trying to beat the system of fair and balanced.

    • @benjaminmanimbi6746
      @benjaminmanimbi6746 17 дней назад +1

      @jerryrowland7122 but they have to be legal, that's the whole point of the border walls and tougher immigration policies. They can come into our borders, get a job and all that, they just have to enter legally. What's so hard to understand about that?

    • @chowchow2386
      @chowchow2386 17 дней назад

      In Canada our government dedicates OUR tax dollars to incentivise employers to hire immigrants OVER Canadians, by subsidizing their wages. It's especially bad in Ottawa, where the city actively will hire immigrants because they see it as "free labour" while feds cover their wages. It's complete BS and needs to be STOPPED.

    • @chowchow2386
      @chowchow2386 17 дней назад

      It's even worse here in Canada. Our government actually will subsidize an immigrants wages. At the cost of OUR tax dollars. Whole system is BS. You take OC transpo in Ottawa and 3/4 of bus drivers are "immigrants." Same with City of Ottawa, because the feds subsidize immigrants wages (as incentive to hire them over Canadians) the city is overwhelmed with them in it's ranks. Do we really believe these people coming share our values and interests? I'd say by the protests we see, they do not. So why do we taxpayers continue to allow it?

    • @af55523
      @af55523 17 дней назад

      Agree. Just commented on another video re DOGE billionaires promoting H1B workers over hiring American workers who actually voted Trump and Republicans into office. H1B workers and, actually all immigrant workers take jobs from Americans who want to work. Ultra-wealthy executives like immigrants/H1B workers because they're cheaper and have fewer job protections than American workers (claiming Americans are lazy, have bad attitudes, etc is just a smoke screen, and we know it). The DOGE billionaires are never going to escape the fact that Americans already know all about why ultra-wealthy executives (just like the DOGE billionaires) like more immigrant and H1B workers - so they can "save" money and add to their own $millions/$billions bank accounts. What we need are systems and rules that make hiring Americans the preferred choice for all US businesses. This is what will improve the lives of all the working class Americans who voted Trump and Republicans into office in 2024. Do the Republicans want to repeat their wins in 2026 and 2028, or don't they?
