So, I found your channel 2 days ago. I have caught up on all the videos. I am loving your build so much. I am not surprised you were worried about raising the beams, especially after watching Trent & Allie’s build. Anyway, I’m subscribed now and I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the build. Happy Christmas guys xxxxx
I know you have been told this before Sara...but never stand on the top platform of ladder! That is just asking for trouble. Technically you're not even supposed to stand on the second to last, but I do as long as I'm well stabilized and I have something to grab on to. When I look back on where you came from, I'm SOO DANG proud of you and Ryan! Wow!!
Ryan and Sarah, On another site I saw a little hack you might like to consider when it comes to fitting the doors and windows. In this other construction the builder cut a slot in the reveals, this will allow you to insert a 2 inch angle iron, which ensures your walls stay strong and more importantly straight. Hope this meets with approval. Regards Robin.
Afternoon Rhyan and Sarah. Compliment of the season. Thanks for another interesting video. Wow must be a relief to get that beam out of the way. 🇯🇲🇯🇲🙏🙏
Hi from me here in Liverpool. I'm so impressed again with what you've achieved. But really amazed at how Sarah is dealing with the height issues of setting the beam. Bravo
Awwwww!!! Thank you! It really does get better with every part of the project we do, BUT the loft subfloor was still the scariest (heights wise). Thank you so much for continuing to follow our build.
Loved this episode!! I like seeing you both be silly in your face to camera!! I wish I could have stayed for more of this project. I can’t wait to go back and watch all these episodes 10 years from now sitting on the deck of the cabin!!
In your old age you will look back on this time and think it was one of the best experiences of your life. Will you feel better about" heights", probably not. Your a great team.
I think you’re right. If nothing else comes from this RUclips adventure at least will have an awesome documentary for our children and grandchildren to watch.
I love you guys, the couple is adorable in your good attitude and constant smile drew the many challenges... very nice finding your gorgeous place and accomplishment ...☺️⭐️and Christmas is coming 🎄
You two are kicking LOADS of ass on this build! So many times I was super sketched out while y'all lifted the beams...but you got it done! Awesome! God bless! ❤️🇺🇸❤️
What an accomplishment! It must be so satisfying seeing those rafters go up! And I can’t wait for you all to release new videos; wish there was one every day! 😊 Knowing what you know now, would you go with the same house plan and manufacturer? Now that we have our land, we’re struggling with the decision of what to build. Would like your thoughts. Thanks! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
before anything build 2 temporary stair ways.. one going into the house and the other to the loft.... this way your steel step ladders will be used for other projects where needed.. once done.. you'd think "why didn't we do these before" The inner stairway in the house could be made from pellet wood and once done you can remove them for something more permeant. ruclips.net/video/DHEKzqWOi68/видео.html Hope you all had a lovely Christmas, May your New year be prosperous in completing old tasks and starting new ones.. One advice above everything.. do not burn yourselves out.. if you feel you've pulled a arm or back muscle or feel its not working out ..take a day off. regards from Singapore, stay safe.. GOD BLESS.
Thanks for for the amazing compliment. It takes so much time to put out these episodes so it’s nice to know that people are enjoying the content. Thanks for being a fan.
There’s a number of reasons. 1. Editing quality videos is a little more time consuming than people think. Add to that that we both run other businesses and we’re building a house. 2. The first part of our build happened pretty FAST and there’s only so much action you can cram into a 20 minute - once a week video. 3. We’re new to this and we’re figuring it out as we go (building and creating content). Believe me, we wish we were closer to real time, too.

That’s a great idea! We will see if we can incorporated that.

Us too! They will be great memories that hopefully can be relived for generations.

I'm watching the house build. Y'all are real troopers. I bet both of you gained quite a bit of muscle. Also, your attitudes were great.
You two are kicking LOADS of ass on this build! So many times I was super sketched out while y'all lifted the beams...but you got it done! Awesome! God bless! ❤️🇺🇸❤️
Thank you so much! We REALLY appreciate it!

Must admit Sara, you're doing well with your fear of heights working on the rafters. Cautious fear will keep you from a fall.good work
Thank you! It definitely gets better with every project we do, but that fear still creeps up on me from time to time.
What can I say You guys are something else. No two people should try and do what you two have done.... great job kids

You e done an amazing job 👍
Ryan, be happy Ya got a wife that is willing to help. I had one that wouldn't hand me a nail.
She is pretty great! I’m a lucky guy.
😊
Are you "Jonathan Garvey" from the little house on the prairie?!
Yes I am.
For untrained builders, you’re doing great.
I'm surprised you didn't go with a metal roof.
We wanted to but the prow front design made doing a metal roof too complicated.
nice
bravissimi
👌👍😁😊😉🇩🇪
Just curious. Why are your posts almost 4 months behind the action? Otherwise, I enjoy your posts. Best of luck.
