She is literally the smartest person I've seen on this show and she's kept her individuality really well I'm proud of her and wish her all the success for the future
I remember Park Joo Ho. (His wife Anna, they’re from TROS) said in one of his vlogs that in cases with a Korean and foreigner. The Korean (guy) won’t get better in speaking their partners language or in English but in time it’s their girlfriend or wife that gets better in Korean. 😂
@@eunieberry Because they are living in Korea. But if the Korean guy moves to this foriegn partner he will learn that country's language. Immersion is the best way to learn a language.
@@eunieberry Actually while Park Jooho can't speak german very much he could speak english. I have seen it on the show. Like when he took the kids to Taiwan. Yes there are people in Taiwan that speak english. But of course his daughter speak german , english, spanish, and korean. While the son Gunhoo/Aciel mostly babble . But he is clearly speaking from time to time in german and english.
I like the advice the father-in-law gave her about what job she should go for. Dip your foot in a lot of things to find whatever you prefer and become more skillful along the way
I've been watching a lot of Korean shows lately and I've noticed that a lot of Koreans are hesitant to try things that aren't Korean. Or almost make fun of non-Korean things, like food, or the way someone raises their children. I dont know, some seem a bit judgmental is all. Not all of course, I'm sure. Just an observation. I'm not trying to be disrespectful, it's just something I've observed. Xoxo, take care.
Mainly boomer Koreans who grew up in famine and they honestly dont know anything else. Similar to americans in the midwest that only eat American food. Younger generation in Korea is very different. They travel more, are more adventurous with food etc. My parents were the same until i incorporated more cuisines from different cultures when cooking dinners.
It's not just Korea, most Asian countries will be really strict about their traditions. It's because the majority of the country shares the same religious rules and that religious rules have not changed or challenged by many people. Because generations and generations of people have follow the same exact rules, no one really think about it as a huge thing. It just like "oh we do these things just because we are taught to do that." The younger generations do try to be more adventurous and show that it's okay to not follow these rules to that extreme but it's really hard to change people's minds since they have been doing this for thousands of years.
My mother is Korean and my Father is Chinese. They’re obviously better at trying and experiencing new things since they moved to America to raise me but they are occasionally still like that. The older ones do that more though. The ones that grew up with Internet and social media and more open to different things and I believe most even welcome it. Baby steps I suppose
My mom does the same thing. She will keep moving and cleaning around. It is like when she see things out of place, she has to move it back. I noticed my aunts do that a lot too
I feel you. Tbh, I'm kinda over white girls. I wish you guys all the WW that are feeling you, honestly. Like, not biased or hate. I'm just more into ethnic Latina and Asian women these days. But in the bible they had multiple wives and stuff so I really don't see what the problem is since I'm a Prince as well. Or at least royalty. Not that I'm bragging. I'm just saying I should be respected way more than the rulers of Earth as I will eventually take my place as the 4th rank in heaven, which is eternal while the life on Earth is fleeting.
Shes actually really impressive and unique. She doesn't try to be a stereotype and shes smart good on her.
She is literally the smartest person I've seen on this show and she's kept her individuality really well I'm proud of her and wish her all the success for the future
You'll really enjoy Megan Bowen's channel then!
Trying to make a good impression for the in-laws is universal probably, not just Korean haha
True! I was like "huh?" when they said "it's Korean thing wanting to look good to parents in law"
Sometimes the hosts makes it sound like all good things happen only in Korea.
It made me snort so hard
it's more strict there maybe 😂
Korea is not that great the apartments are expensive and really small not really worth what you can get in england
They are a beautiful couple. When I saw their wedding photo I honestly went back a couple of times. 😍
She speaks really good korean. She barely has an accent when she speaks

When her mother in law goes straight to the cleaning part I felt so bad like if it was my parent in law and got full stress mode 😭😭😭
My grandad likes to do the washing up. My mum always ends up redoing it tho. The effort is nice. 😂😂😅😅
She looks so pretty underwater... it was like a painting 😍
The mother in law really just lint rolled her husband. 🤣🤣🤣

I've noticed that too. the also claim certain traditions are "korean", if the share i.

Back home in their respective countries these “new models” are not even considered attractive in the least bit.
