Now i know why the guy is very polite. First, he's the only son in the siblings so his responsibility towards his parents are still there. Second, his parents are respectful towards each other. His father is very fatherly figure who Ethan can always looking up for if he has something to talk about.
living with in laws and especially conservative ones isn't easy with younger people i would guess so i'm glad they are moving out but legit his dad was fr guilt tripping them lmao 😂
There always be a problem though whoever you live with, but I do agree that living with your law could be uncomfortable since everyone need their own space... Even my parents always said that the moment I and my sister get married in the future, I should have our own home to live with our own new family...
I feel for the young couple but I commend them for doing it now, it seems like relationships are already strained so better to move on now before it gets worse.
I live in a Hispanic household and I’m 20 now and still at home while I’m in college but my parents know that sometime soon I’m going to want to move out. As the first daughter of theirs, they get sad of the thought but they understand that I as a person need to grow on my own.
I also come from a Hispanic family and I'm the first born and one day I just started staying at my bfs and at some point I just moved in with him 🤣 LMAO but my mom is always bringing me fruit and asking if I need anything.
Emotional manipulation no matter how nice or kind the parents are, is still one of the worst kinds of violence... It traps the children into this sort of vicious cycle where they believe it is their "obligation" to care for what their parents feel or experience..
Ethan's parents can babysit the grandkids if they continued to stay together. But space is really the issue here. The situation faced by the young married couple is likely more common than we may realize. Unfortunately, apartments generally aren't designed with the purpose to accommodate 3 generations under a single roof. The young married couple could consider sound-proofing their room or find a unit in the same building if they're living in an apartment.
so weird seeing western parents like this. like honestly my parents couldnt wait until i moved out for uni and are counting down the years for when my youngest sister moves out so that they can sell the house and move to somewhere warmer, cheaper and not wet like norway lmao
I wish we have the same mindset herre in Philippines bcos most of the families here stay with their parent until They have their great grand childrens esp if they dont have work. Being dependent to their parents.

Depends on the people, really. I don't think there should be a universal rule. Some people don't want kids and it's fine, others really like them and want a few, that's fine too. As long as they can provide for them, of course! :)

Money is the solution (as usual) but the real struggle is about not being ungrateful to your parents especially if they sacrificed alot so you can have a future while figuring out how to raise your own family in a safe & healthy environment.
While it's hard to do this. If his parents want his son to have his OWN family they need to make the sacrifice. The son shouldn't sacrifice his family for his mother and father however cold it may sound
The baby is too young and could suffocate from the mask, too dangerous, but so is covid but breathing problems for a baby could be have very prolonged effects so idk
@@crimmerz2000 I never read anywhere that mask can cause breathing problems to a baby but may be you are right so in that condition it better to keep baby inside home ,as well as try to keep them out from public area .what I read in newspapers that it is more dangerous for baby ,old people and for a person having any type of disease because their immune system is weak
