Biggest issue with BDK Gris Charnel extrait is that it is nuclear, couldn‘t wash it off for 4 days. I love to choose every morning something new for my mood. I like 10-12 hours but 4 days is just too long for me no matter how much I love a scent. I prefer the original Gris Charnel. (Plus the vanilla is a tad too much for my taste in the extrait.) My newest love for fall is Levitating by Floraiku (even though this has also vanilla, but it‘s always together with mandarin oil).

I'm a fig lover and I can't wait to try Gris Charnel! Right now I'm babying my samples of Murmure d’Eté by Plume Impression, which I think you might like as it not overly sweet and has nice green and woody notes to balance it out. Currently trawling RUclips for more fig perfumes! 🥰🥰

Thanks for mentioning it. I recently bought Carven Paris Santorin which is a lovely fresh fig. Debaser is also a favourite of mine. 😃🇦🇺

I am so excited to wear my Gris Charnel Extrait! I have the original as well, couldn't decide between the two. My husband tends to wear the original more. And I think I prefer the extrait. And Duchessa is so beautiful, I want to get a bottle of it someday.

Liis Bo is so addictive, yet on me there's an underlying 'hamster cage/too cedary' scent I wish wasn't there. I couldn't love Sugar Leather more, it's sooo good! You had me add Sandalwood in Oak to my subscription calendar, hopefully not too much cedar! I have been trying Mind Games from my scent subscription and have liked a few but Gardez isn't available. And that price tag, Whoa😱 My favorite newest fragrance is Amouage Guidance and I'm going to wear the heck out of it! I don't usually wear scents for the season, I just wear what I feel like wearing each day! Unless it's a special occasion, but that's unlikely in my life LOL

Great list!! I know what you mean when you "need a break" from loving the heavier fragrances in the autumn! For example, I love my Absolute Aphrodisiac in the fall, but I'm thinking that an aromatic vanilla would be good for those days when that heavy vanilla type of scent is just too much. Any chance you could make an aromatic/earthy/green vanillas video? The word “Gris” (grey) makes me want to put my other perfumes in the attic! Gris Charnel and Gris Dior PC are nose crack! 😂😂😂… Full disclosure, I’ve also been wearing out my Amouage Material and Byredo Bal de Afrique lately. To extend the life of my niches, I layer them on top of a cheaper base note product. Usually something vanilla, like Nebras or any of the good dupes for them. Also, being raised a catholic school girl, frankincense and myrrh are my absolute fall/winter jam!… Great video of course.

Hmm. Yes try Mula Mula first. I thought Venom (the few times I tested it) had a soft dry down. You might think Mula is harsh or stronger. I liked Venom but thought it was super overpriced.

Hi Chris, I blind bought the OG Mula Mula a couple of weeks ago and it isn't as great as many say. I am wondering if the red bottle is better. Did you try the OG and if so, how do you like it?
You know my opinion on blind buying right? Lucky Scent, etc carries that line with samples. Because everyone has different taste. I sampled all the Byron Parfums and will slowly make my way through them. I haven’t sampled the original in over a year. I remember liking it but maybe not loving?? I can’t remember. 😂
