The Jets offense reminds me of the Tampa offense during the 2020 season. It started out slow, people were talking about how Tom Brady needed to be part of a Belichick system to win, Brady was out of sync with his receivers, etc. Tampa was 6-5 at their bye, then closed the season with 5 wins, steamrolled through the playoffs & won the Super Bowl. I'm not saying the Jets will win the Super Bowl, but it took time for Tom Brady to adjust to his teammates, but when they hit stride Tampa was unbeatable. Hopefully, the Jets' offense will continue to improve as the season progresses.
The Titans defense only gave up three field goals last week, while the Jets scored 24. The point spread was about three, so it wasn't expected to be a blowout. Overall the Jets made many great plays, while needing much improvement.
Aren't we underestimating the Titans a tad? Their defense is very good, especially the D-line. Simmons has always been a monster. And their offense only sputtered with errors by Levis. I don't even think the Chiefs could 'dominate' them. It's too early in the season to predict dominance. Look at the Ravens.
Rodgers is right on schedule, mahomes had 2 picks yesterday and got the win. He will be better as the season goes and the biggest offensive issue is run blocking. Just keep the opponent around 24 and Lower, you will be in every game .
The good news is that they won. The potential bad news is the the Pats are a really good team and I’m not super confident now that we lost more defensive players. Plus Geno had to do a lot of scrambling which Rodgers is not capable against this pass rush!
Rodgers is clearly limited in speed now, and I'm thankful that he's not trying to run (or even slide in the pocket) too much. I'd say he's already shown he's the best QB for the Jets since at least Testeverde. A little more on tape, and I'm sure I'll be saying he's as good as Farve was for us.
They are all running 2 high coverages. Jets O-line isn't able to get run blocking well, and WRs are not opening up that well. The issue isn't Rodgers. Sure he's a little rusty and 40-year old, but he'd doing everything to enable the team to play and win. A different QB isn't exactly winning this game. Give it time, and get the scheme to work,.
You just said it right. Jets fans should recalibrate their expectations. We have team to get into play off and probably get through first game... and that is great for a team that did not go to playoffs for 13 years. Lets focus how to keep the core of our great Young players and strengthen us with more good Young players and eventually get where 49`s are now. Very strong franchise for years to come. I would trade superbowl title for 15 consecutive years of going into playoffs any day.

I think it's still growing pains. This is a new team with young tools on offense after rodgers and the line.

Please improve your sound equipment! Content is good - as always. The sound is bad - as always.
