I am Roman Catholic and I am having a crisis of understanding over the recent pronouncements of Francis that all,religions are pathways to God. He has tripled down on this and I am terribly confused how the Pope can be speaking heresy. I have a question about the difference between the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Western Church. I am searching. Why is there a difference in the Orthodox Nicene Creed, “we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord the Giver of Life, Who proceeds from the Father” as differing from the Roman Creed, “Who proceeds from the Father and the Son.” If God is 3 Persons in One, and co equal, why would the Holy Spirit proceed from only the Father and not from the Father and the Son? It takes God to understand God. So no need to go deep in to try to understand The Holy Trinity and the relationship within. Rather..focus on what you are witnessing.
Your pope commited biggest heresy and that should alarm you of who your spiritual leaders are.
