Also I just want to add for everyone in the comments who say there is no church near them. I live in Honolulu, my church is on the other side of the island. I take 3 busses, there, then 3 back. Usually an 8 hour day. And that’s just for the Divine Liturgy.
I love it tho. I listen to this channel the ride there and back. And as I meet more in our Parish, I get rides often. Because God is Love. And I’m glad he tested me to make sure I really want to be with Him forever.
If you can’t walk or take a bus 2 hours to your nearest parish, are you gonna be faithful when he asks for much more?
Take it all as joy.

Holy Spirit, direct me in my career, and finances. As a single mother with two children with special needs life is an overwhelming journey, especially because I’m constantly faced with financial difficulties. Lord I struggle to provide the basic necessities for my sons, like groceries and rent. I pray for your divine intervention in my life, that you would provide for my children’s needs and guide me towards financial stability in Jesus name I pray.

Thank you Father for always pressing on about proper Baptism as the right way to be received into the Church. We have so many young guys coming to our Church now and I want to tell them to go elsewhere to be baptized. Sadly my priest doesn't baptize and when he does he plunges their head into the font(which is too small for the body of an adult) then rubs water all over them!! I am still scandalized by this. What can I do?? We were chrismated then visited the Monastery and Geronda told us we needed to be baptized so we obeyed him.

It is always jarring to see such attempts -- or lack of attempts -- at baptism.
Still hard to imagine that some are intentionally not baptizing and prefer to depart from the Holy Fathers rather than simply do due diligence and prepare the font.
God help them and us.
And guide all who would follow the Holy Fathers faithfully and humbly on the narrow path.
