DR 102424 Ridge Manor and Cortez flooding

October 24, 2024-completed a full flight over Ridge Manor and Cortez, launching from the Hernando County Sheriff-Ridge Manor Substation. The sight of lingering floodwaters is both overwhelming and heart-wrenching. Yet amidst it all, there’s resilience and hope. I wonder how long this will stay? I don't remember the name but about 10 yrs or so ago a hurricane went over Gainesville and turned paines prairie into a swamp that much of still remaines.
