Brilliant ride and video. Did the same years ago around late March and were spoiled by the weather although the rain came just after we got our first pint in. Unfortunately for others the helicopter was busy that afternoon as people try and walk it trainers/flip flops and tracksuits. It might not be Everest but it’s a mountain!
We were really lucky with the weather to be honest (even the snow). It all made for a superb day. Unfortunately you do get a lot of people who are not prepared for a mountain walk heading up there. Avoid summer bank holidays!😂
Looked absolutely awsome! Hiked wyddfa loads of times, still yet to bike it! Live in south 🏴 so we up there 4 or 5 times a year! Did caedar idris last year on the bike, that’s fab as well ✌️
What an epic ride. I agree about the 510s. I slipped over on the night and elbow landed on the only rock around. Think I need to find some flat pedal shoes that also have some grip when off the bike. Out of interest what tyres where you running
I have gone for Schwalbe Magic Mary front and back. In the past I have dabbles with multiple combinations of the Magic Mary, Hanz Damf and Maxxis Minios DHR2 and DHF. Thought I would give this set up a try for a bit.

Amazing, I love proper mountain riding. So important that bikes dont get squeezed off the hills, so really good you mentioned the agreed curfew.
