💚💚💚
Thanks, I learned a lot, I hope your garden is off to a good start this year!
Loved the video!
Thank you for the information and demonstration of hanging up the melons. P.S. I used your method for stringing and hanging garlic. It worked like a charm.
💯👍👍🌹🌹 I'm going to set mine up now cucumber watermelon and cantaloupe
THANK YOU
The melon hammock technique is so cool. The first time I saw it was with luxury gift melons in Japan! I never thought it was feasible thing for me to do. Since I didn’t want to pay for a bunch of heavy duty stakes to take up huge parts of my not that wide yard. However,I got a lot of fence like you! So this will WORK!!!! Thx for the inspo #luxurymelons
The beds are sooooo neat!
Thank you🥰 Happy Gardening!
This very creative. Nicely done!
Thank you 💚ECO Blessings 💚
Great ideas here! I love watching how you have put this trellis together 💐
Thanks so much! 😊
Nice 🍉
Wow it’s amazing Sis you make it look so easy. I know now to cut the bottom of leaves last year I got the white stuff I guess the disease on my leaves. Thanks again beautiful
Glad i found your channel. I was looking for a garden chair that was sturdy and cheap.. A milk crate will do... Im getting me one soon..lol thanks for the idea
Where do you get those elastic hammocks to hold the watermelons onto the trellis?
Really great and helpful video! Thank you!

Love how stress to be careful then cut the pepper yourself 😅💖😆 it really is easy to do that, knocked some peaches down yesterday with the same mindset
🥰😂
Nice garden. First year doing melons and watermelons.
Congratulations on your new gardening journey into plant Melons 🍈 🍉
Everything is so lush in your garden! What do you use to keep moths and other pests away?
They say it's better not to grow two crops too close together for those reasons.
Enjoyed your vid...dont ya just love it!!...new sub too!
First time on your channel. I'm loving that you have the same type of garden working stool I have ; milk crate 💓

Thank you so much 😊 Did you plant any melon this year💚
@@BeauteeInTheGarden your welcome and yes I planted both cantaloupe and sugar baby melons in containers for the 1st time. Keeping my 🤞
Should have used the title "how I thin my plants with a side of trellis info.😅
Anyway, looks like you have some sort of wooden fence to support the wire fencing.
great video subbed up
Nice work Tee 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Thanks💗💚💚
Awesome
🥰
Wish I was there so I could help you
💚🥰
I'm growing sweet passion cantelope and kajari for the first time on my new cattle panel trellis.
QUESTIONS:
> How long is the delay between the emergence of male and female flowers ? So far, ive only seen males.
> How many fruits should I let set for each plant ? I think I read 2-4 for cantelope, but I suspect the kajari may be indeterminate and can handle more than that.
I would have just died if I cut my paper they take the longest to grow I think 🤔it's my first year growing but every day am outside with my garden
Music choice is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
💚Thanks
PS- Nice video. Keep em coming.
I haven't started growing in ground yet. But hubby is asking for watermelon and I think I want to put them in the ground. I have only put my trees in the ground, no veggies.
where did you buy the hammocks for the watermelons?
Nevermind I didn't watch long enough before I commented 😂
It is okay 🥰🪴💚
You are right, I did not take my time. I rushed.
Nice👍👏😊
Thanks 🤗
Beautiful gardens my melons leaves started dying 😢
Looking for the nets you tried your melons with. It's not listed. Could you please let me know. Thanks
When should you tie melons? I've seen some people let them hang or maybe i just can't see the net
Nce 🌸🌺

Great gardening ! I live in California and it very warm in summer and I’m new to gardening what do you think is best to grow here.
The easiest way to find out what to grow in your area is to type in your state and County 🥰 what to grow in your area And you will find a list of wonderful plant to grow Happy Gardening💚
Hey Tee : We doing this but failed to pick the correct variety for trellis growing , LOL I'm shamed to say it's a Jubilee and it didn't fit in the stocking 🥲 it's our first year also when you cleaning up the plant how do you know what to cut? #blessings
I cut all the lower leaves and leave at least 5 at the top to allow for photosynthesis. You cut the first 5 runners out of the nodes and then let runners go for until the plant is tall enough and them cut the top off the main vine. Limit the amount of side nodes to 3-5 nodes then cut the main side vine and let the cucumbers grow. Hope that made sense...the main thing if you're new is remove all the lower fan leaves on the main vine and leave about 5 at the top. They just take up energy from the plant and get mildew rust
Yeah, Jubilees are pretty big melons. They can easily get up to 35lbs or so.
Thanks for sharing! I’m actually trying to grow some melons (musk, orange, red), and was looking for ways to generate the best fruit. I noticed that the musk melon is starting to Vine out everywhere and wondering if there is ever a too soon time to prune? :)
Thanks again!
If you have a lot of leaves or if you just wanna do a one stem method, start pruning out some of your leaves. It will help with airflow and you do not have to worry about getting powder mildew on your crop quickly
@@BeauteeInTheGarden thanks! Will do just that!
Whay zone are you in? When did you start planting the watermelons? One last thing😁 how many watermelon plants dod you plant?
❤️
💚🥰🪴
Great video! What kind of fence wiring do you have on your wooden fence? And do you have any trouble getting pollinators? I have a ton of potential fruit but they end up falling off before they even get big. Know what’s happening? Thanks in advance!
Pollinate them by hand
Hi do you keep your melon plants growing single stem or do you let them multiple stem once the are on treillis?
Just about a foot off the ground
Is that a wire trellis? I'm thinking about trellis netting mesh.
It is fencing wire
I have the one melon and vine is dying underneath it and above so I had to cut it and start over 😢
How many watermelons does 1 plant produce?
❤😊
💚💚💚
Hello beautiful Queen what was the name of the knitted stockings that you use to hold up the watermelons 🍉? I looked In the description below and did not see them. 🙈
Tomato netting🥰🥰🥰
How do you know which leaves to cut
I look for the leader stem
The melons don't break off from the weight of them?
No
