It’s cool that you mentioned StarCraft but I just think that the only vessels you could add are the battlecruiser, carrier, and maybe the leviathan and gorgon. Motherships are mostly used as atmospheric support craft, the spear of Adun is a win condition for any space battle, and everything else is too small. Also, most battle cruisers have instant cross map teleportation so that’d be fun to play against.
one game I think could be interesting to see come to Project Stardust is Dropfleet Commander, a tabletop game about spaceship battles - it's got several pretty interesting factions, and takes place in a universe where humanity lost Earth to an invading force called the Scourge and had to reforge their empire in their space colonies, and are now fighting to take back Earth, with some other alien and transhumanist forces getting involved for their own reasons. Some really diverse ship designs and factions.

they did end up adding 4 new ships to SBY, 2 conventional battleships and 2 refitted Murasame-class space cruisers

Just telling you incase you didn't know but they just added aureus part 2 (1.5) they added the khavadrii union aka battery ships to the game
14:27 the eternal empire would probably be like the reaper tree of star wars like its ships only being tier 4 and above due to how broken it is
