  • Processing a whole chicken should be in every home-cooks toolbox. Everyone should know how to process a bird. Once you get used to doing it with a chicken, you can then start processing turkeys, ducks, geese, etc. I keep saying it, but this process is how you cut up a whole bird cooked or raw.
    TIME TO PREPARE
    5+ minutes to process chicken
    INGREDIENTS FOR PULLED CHICKEN
    Rotisserie Chicken (whole)
    (as mentioned, this process works for #raw or #cooked chicken
    HOW TO
    1. Use a larger, SHARP, serrated knife
    2. With the chicken sitting on it’s legs, cut through the center (between breasts)
    3. Once chicken is cut in-half, continue cutting spine off too
    4. Now that you have 2 chicken halves, again, cut the leg/thigh away from breast
    5. Do it again, other side
    6. Now you have 4 chicken pieces
    7. You can cut and remove wing from breast, leg from thigh
    8. Now you have 8 chicken pieces
    9. Do with your chicken as you see fit
    10. Enjoy
