Harvesting Garlic in North Alabama!

Pulling up my garlic that I planted this winter. I had some cloves that were sprouting from the grocery store and I decided to plant them. I'm really happy with how well they grew!

Looks pretty good for grocery store stock that started sprouting (IMHO)! I'm wondering if what you grew is a California Early? Two weeks ago I pulled my Inchelium Reds and they look to be about the same size. The taste is really good. First time to try garlic and had my doubts since Birmingham's climate isn't ideal....but pleasantly surprised. Glad to see an Alabama garlic grower vid! Thumbs up on your other pursuits; have a daughter in N. AL doing the same:)
