      Hello @TeamAcne i just wanna mention something about dairy like... im not sure but i have acne not severe like you or any other people did or have but mabye mild and im going to the gym and i do take my protien sources from natural foods like eggs and etc.. and along with with that i take milk but since people alot have mentioned it about causing acne im not sure where to go with this.. :( but i feel like im somewhere in the middle in a deliema the reason is because i think that diary products like milk have growth factors which help me not just build muscle but also grow in terms of height too i guess and its sort of an OP ingredient which might be need in growth dont you think? Im really worried and confused about what to do.. wether to worry about my acne or growth right now... im 17 turning 18 this year but i need to know what i can do with this cause i think milk is also important as many of the other animal protien sources like meat,chicken etc.. but this seems to be the only one im worried about the most atm so what should i do... i really wanna drink milk and grow too but acne.. is whats stopping me from taking milk.. i really worry if i might grow any more taller but i still wanna grow more and maximise everything ive got :( what is your advice @TeamAcne ?

    You’re a good dude, you can see kindness in you. I’m 37 and I recently (first time in my life) broke out in a really strange bout of cystic acne, specifically around my cheekbones, temples and that area on the sides of my face… I think my lifestyle needs a overhaul, especially my diet and my mentality! Thank you my bro! 😊

      I appreciate that so much, that means a lot :) I'm sorry you've got your first serious breakout BUT a silver lining way to look at it, is that this gives you an opportunity to figure out what your body is not meshing well with in your lifestyle/diet. Whatever it is, was bothering your body well before acne and if you never broke out, you might not have ever made the change!

    This is so true! There is no better way out than being kind, gentle and patient with yourself. When I start loving myself even with my acne and all the scars, I started seeing a big difference in my self esteem and the type of person I am. Now, everything is working out. I no longer hate myself or talk down to myself and that helped my stress level tremendously. Now I am enjoying life even more and focusing on making myself happier than ever😁. Thanks for the video!

      @@TeamAcne From someone who’s been through acne over the past 7 years, for what it’s worth I truly believe there is a spiritual component to acne, a lesson in loving yourself and realising that your self worth is not based on the way you look or anything physical; as well as learning to have more respect for your body and what you put in it, our bodies are gifts!
      We are all perfect expressions of the infinite intelligence of the universe. An even more profound lesson is the compassion and empathy you gain for people who also have acne or any other condition for that matter. I think you may have mentioned this in a video before, incredibly powerful lessons.

    For me I have had acne for 5 years now from 8th grade to now being a High School Senior, I don't really get bothered by what random people say about what I look like as I am already used to it by now but its different when it is your own family who is saying the same things to you.

    But cutting dairy products does not work for everyone. I have terrible cystic acne since I am 13, now I am 21. Sometimes it is better and sometimes worse. And I cut all dairy when I was between 16 to 18 and my skin didn't improve at all. I would even argue my skin is better when I drink cow milk and eat dairy. I really don't what is the solution for me, I tried all types of vitamins, minerals too. And of course all cleaning products, antibiotics etc. Acne is horrific ☹

    • @TeamAcne
      @TeamAcne  6 часов назад

      Hi Adrian! For me personally I noticed an absolutely massive difference in my acne when I cut dairy completely out of my diet. Dairy allergies are common, but I agree that everyone's bodies are different and what causes acne for one person may be a trigger for another person. To simplify the process I created a 10 step program that helps each individual to figure out what the root cause of their acne is. Everyone is so different and unique that it is important to figure out what will work for you personally/what triggers your acne.

    Your lack of visible scarring on your face is SHOCKING considering the severity of your acne. I know Banish is the main reason, but how many years did you have the acne and how old were you when you started using Banish, and how long did you microneedle to get from the "before" picture to the "after" picture? I'm almost 44 and have lived most of my life assuming I was stuck with acne scars and pits for life. I have Banisher 2.0 but haven't seen results yet.

    • @TeamAcne
      @TeamAcne  Месяц назад +4

      Thanks for the love! It honestly still blows my mind too :) Here's the thing, I actually lost hope because I wasn't seeing much difference after a few months but I talked to a friend who's a derm and they explained that collagen/elastin has a lag effect where you won't see the full changes from the first treatment for 4-6 months...so in my case, I wasn't seeing really ANY changes after 4-5 months but then 6+ months I started noticing a pretty big diff and after 1 year it was BIG. I've been using Banish for 3+ years now.
      My advice is to just stay consistent and try to just keep the habit without worrying too much about the results, for now. Then in another few months you can start to analyze the difference. Also I'd take some really good photos now so that you can compare it because your eye will have a hard time noticing, since you see your face every day and the tiny changes blend together in your mind

    • @freedombug11
      @freedombug11 Месяц назад

      @@TeamAcne Okay, that's pretty reassuring. I've had the experience of having a chemical peel and also a laser abrasion that (both with the rock-hardened face, which ironically causes cystic acne), had layers and layers and layers of skin peeled off and the healed skin afterward looked EXACTLY the same as it did before! However, I believe in the results people are getting from microneedling, and believe I have already seen slight results myself, so I will not lose heart. That sounds like excellent advice! I'll do that. I won't delete my "bad" selfies. ;)

      Dairy and gluten are the cause for a LOT of people...basically it's a food allergy that manifests as inflammation and acne. That's GREAT you figured that out, you now have a lot more control than when you didn't know why you were breaking out. Over time you will learn ways to satisfy your cravings for everything you want to eat but without dairy/gluten!

    Hi Bryan, been following you for almost 10 years now! Over the years I realized my acne was triggered by dairy and excess gluten consumption. I stopped consuming any dairy for the last 3 years and would like to re-introduce it into my diet just for the sake of not looking at food labels for once in my life. I was wondering how you reintroduced that into your own diet if you did and if you made use of lactase supplements. Because I haven't consumed any lactose for so long, my tolerance is zero, basically last time I got triggered by taking a medecine which had lactose as an excipient (500mg only). Would love to have your opinions on this, keep it up

    • @TeamAcne
      @TeamAcne  Месяц назад +1

      I'm glad figuring out that dairy and gluten was causing your acne helped to improve it so much! I don't consume dairy, it was a HUGE trigger and would definitely cause me acne now.
      If you know that you can't tolerate ANY dairy, even a medicine that had a little, I wouldn't mess with it at all. I mean, even beyond acne, your body is not made to process it so trying to find a workaround via an enzyme supplement feels like a trojan horse that's sneaking something your body really doesn't want in it, back into it. It's up to you but that's my opinion :)

    So, does that mean there's no cure for acne?

    • @TeamAcne
      @TeamAcne  Месяц назад +1

      There's no "cure" in terms of NEVER getting acne again (for now, they're working on it) BUT you can find your personal triggers and make a plan to avoid them. That can definitely cause you to have a clear face for the rest of your life. I have plenty of videos on this channel that help you figure all that out or you can just check www.TheAcneMethod.com 😊
      How long have you been dealing with acne?

    most important of all, genetics.
    could be bulking/cutting, showering twice a day or not at all, changing the bed sheets every week or every month, eating only clean whole foods or only processed garbage and still have skin issues. Meanwhile the homeless dude down the block with no shower, any shitty food available and no skin care routine has better skin 😂

      @@adu9422 they should be! we're all different. I just know that everyday I was eating scrambled eggs for breakfast and I noticed that I'd feel less inflamed if I didn't eat them. Now that I've stopped I've not had a single new pimple. And this is after all the adapalene and supplements and exfoliating acids I've tried. Just stopped eating eggs and I'm feeling better. Try going on an anti inflammatory diet :)
