I use. 2 inch pvc pipe to and substrate to tanks that are already set up. It works perfect and dosnt cloud the tank. Give it a try might work
Your planting aquarium videos are among the best in the business - you should do more.
Just lovely!!!everyone looks happy and wow! The water cleared fast!
75 gallon is looking good, love cryptocoryne undulata and balansae, just great crypts. And you got a lot of awesome fish species in that tank.
Ooo, nice! Love all the green. I haven't had much luck keeping Easy Tabs down in sand (they keep floating up), but now I see how you stuffed each tab under a plant. Good to know! P.S. Haha that ending...
Your best intro was the ran bow fish/lion roaring...very funny, very fast, very memorable!
One of my favorites =D
Great info again! Love your videos.
The tank looks great! I'm looking forward to seeing it grow in.
Nice video! Those crypts look really nice 👍 That trick with the eco complete was an interesting idea to help the crypts in the back.
That tank is going to look nice, and I love the school of Bleeding Hearts.
Tank looking good bob

I love anubias. They grew like crazy for a couple of years and now they seem to shrink over time. One of the problems is black beard algae. I have cut back on lighting and am using CO2 to try to reverse this trend in one tank. I have also set up a "anubias farm" where I grow them emerged (plastic tote, miracle Gro soil, and grow light), and plan on returning them to my aquariums once they become larger and healthier. I plan on rotating anubias through the "farm" to keep them robust. I am a biologist too and have tried everything to get them to grow like they did for a while while immersed. The question I have is, what pH is your water at? I am concerned that Indianapolis water, pH at about8.2, will not allow me to have beautiful immeresed anubias plants.
Tank looks great Bob! Your baby bichirs are cute! :-)
Wonder shells help with that calcium too bud. I use them on almost every tank.
Hey Bob what kinda sand is that in the front..I thought it was some weird sand they only have by you....,? Looks great the whole tank I mean!
Its lapis luster sand made by cemex :)
BALANSAE: rhymes with "Go away!" Thanks for the information on its preferred water hardness. No wonder that species does so well for me with my liquid rock desert well water! Those are the cutest little cichlids on the planet, BTW. What are they? I would love it if you would include a stock list when you focus on an aquarium, even if the species in the tank are not the focus of the video. I know it's more work, and I appreciate it! I'm sure many others would, too.
Thats a good idea, its an egyptian mouthbrooder =)
Not a big plant video guy nut great video! Pleco party under the one rock! What was that one fish that was not happy with you putting the pant on the driftwood? looked like a cichlid.
Egyptian Mouthbrooder, dwarf cichlid =)
@@SteenfottAquatics might have to give them a try they are sassy! u have been breeding kribs time for a new project!
Rock wool is the devil....for sure.
i hate it
Did the synodontis ever end up eating your plants?
Nope =)
@@SteenfottAquatics lucky, my synodontis annihilated all my plants in one night :(
Is that the same aqueon 75 filter you chopped down to fit a 20 long for the zebras?lol I just saw that video a few weeks and
Yup lol
How bout the Bloods?
Come to florida take all the limestone you want
Hi , just thought I would make you aware of the "swatting prank" which is happening to well known tubes. These pranksters what till you are live then contact the police pretending to be you saying you just murdered family members so the cops swatt you. This prank is happening in the USA and already cost one life.
Its been going on for awhile
gary gray old news.
