Just got a pair of these hoping they would better than they really are. Snicking the copper too much. Sadly, I suspect I'll be going back to the old type with the screw-adjuster. Thanks for the video.

Yes they do have a habit of snicking the copper, especially on fine stranded cables. I have noticed that Stahlwille have a similar set out now, but limited to 1.2mm diameter cable.
