We recently bought our second home; I had already been looking for a month for a house; on one of these days my hubby went with me; after looking at about 13 homes we were on the very last one; immediately this house had everything and then some it felt like home; so we left a home of 38 years where we raised our family to something fabulous and larger then are previous one; this house is great especially when everyone come for an event or holiday there is room for all children and their children. Congratulations on your new home.
First thing we did when we bought our first home and i recommend is that you change the locks on your doors you never know who has a copy of the keys.
I am in tears too. Im 61 and remember the feeling. You two will remember this always.❤👰🤵

Congratulations! Never saw anyone get a house so fast without red tape. Clearly, that house was meant for you two!
This is how my house journey went! No pre-approval, no agent, no plans to buy a house. Saw an open house on a Sunday, decided to go with my fiance, we got a feeling when we were inside, we asked the agent that was hosting the open house what do we do next, he put us in touch with a lender, he became our agent. Offer was submitted on Tuesday with minutes to spare (there was competition!). Offer accepted Wednesday morning! It was meant to be and we knew it. God did that.

As a Canadian, who lives in Ontario that was a flurry activity going on in Tennessee. Not a snow storm. But I understand that if you are not used to it and don't have snow tires, it can be intimidating. Good call Christian on getting the heaviest vehicle you could to keep you grounded and on the road.🇨🇦
I am so excited for you. I bought several houses in my 76 years, the last one being just about a year and a half ago. But I remember buying my first home and I am actually in tears because I'm so excited for you. I remember what it was like to buy my first home. I lived in East Nashville for 25 years as an adult (I'm old lol) and moved away a couple years ago. I saw snow twice in those 25 years, so the fact you guys got to see Nashville with Snow on it is VERY rare and pretty special. 😉 I actually moved away because like 100 people have been moving there every day since ~ 2016 and the congestion is too horrid; it isn't the same city, but that's OK: cities change. I'm excited for you guys on this journey!! Make sure to check Bongo Java or Crema out (the 2 best coffee shops in town). 💜

We bought our first home 33 years ago. We’re still in it. 2 kids later, who won’t leave home, we are staying till they put us in an old age home lol. I wish for you both all the fun, love, parties, pets and kids in your home that we’ve had in ours. Congratulations guys ❤

Omg! Congrats!! I am so jealous - we have toured so many houses and haven't found the one. We thought we did, put in an offer, and thought we would be approved quickly. Turns out there were 3 adult children selling their mom's house...and they wanted to fight over offers and have a bidding war. Ugh!

Congratulations Kristen!!! When I listen to your story, I almost cried, because it is very is very similar to our story of buying a house one month ago. Same as you we were the first people to see the house on the first day on the market and we gave an offer same day. They accepted. We are fellow Canadians moving from BC to Alberta! It's a big change for us, but we can do it!
