- Since I moved out, I've been in a creative rut. With the new stage in life, I also wanted to take a new stage in my filmmaking journey. But I've been trying so hard to come up with the perfect idea that I've ended up making nothing. This video is my attempt to just make something imperfect, but at least it's complete. This is a philosophy I always think about when I have a creative idea block: "If everything was perfect, we wouldn't know what perfection is. Perfection can only be found in the imperfections and embracing them. That's how you achieve authenticity." This can be seen in real life. For example, in art collections, often the most prized paintings of an artist are their early works which are imperfect. But those imperfect pieces tell the story and show the journey. Cinematography is A1 btw.

I have one from small rig, the rhinoceros one but I don’t actually use it. Just used it as a prop for the video

I couldn't agree more with a lot of what you said. Chasing perfection will only have you achieve excellence, and the content you put out, is pretty close to that. The whole third-person movie/documentary way of vlogging is my favorite genre, and I hope that in time you'll be able to produce what you want with more stability and fluidity.
