Building more monstrous infrastructure to accommodate individuals in automobiles will soon be as embarrassing as people driving Hummers. Driving is continuing to decline nationwide, even as gas prices ease. So, what would $4 billion in public transit look like? That's something Louisville and Southern Indiana could actually use.
Why is there no CGI presentation to show what happens on the other side of the river, where you propose relocating I-64 to? That has always been the proble with Louisville, for some reason you feel that the moon and sun revolve around you. Has it occured to you that people in New Albany, Clarksville and Jeffersonville, don't really care what your downtown look like? Don't get me wrong, build the East End Bridge and build it now. but don't try and dump your traffic off on us
Does L'ville really think people are going to want to live downtown during the 10+ years of construction? If i was a developer downthere i sure would be upset with your clueless Mayor, that promises everything and delivers, well....concrete.
Brilliant, guys...
The new Spaghetti Junction and Downtown Bridge gets my vote.
how can you say that about Mayor for life Jerry?
