The meta is decks that perform well that a lot of people are using. New sets will shift the meta, and it's always changing and evolving. So when you build a deck to bring to play, you need to account for all the decks that you're going to possibly go up against.

Girl you are lucky. As someone who mainly collects WOTC era old school cards. Trying to get back into the hobby now has been fun but brutal not finding anything. 3 local Walmarts and a target near me were cleaned out not even any blister packs lol. I did manage to score a Scarlett ETB from gamestop for 24.99 so one small victory!
the first time (of only a couple) i ever went black friday shopping was around 2013 on the friday after Thanksgiving. it was to get an ipad for my mother. it wasnt a huge scramble, we were all standing in line and the manager or cashier actually went down the line counting because he knew how many they had and he stopped at the guy in front of me and said, "he's getting the last one". we had been in line for quite a while, he was younger than me, late teens or early 20s, i had been talking to him beforehand and i mentioned that i was getting one for my mother who never had one and after he was told he was getting the last one he actually declined it and told them to give it to me because he already had one and just wanted a new one for himself. i wasnt expecting that, i shook his hand and told him, "Thank you". i kind of went into my first black friday expecting a mosh pit style crowd that didnt care who did or didnt get something, to a young guy giving me the last one out of selfless generosity. pretty good first experience.
So excited to see a new video, I wish there was a black Friday sale here for Pokémon cards but I have not seen any. Loving the vibe as always, the whole forgetting about your makeup at night is something I always do😅. Much magical vibes your way ❤❤

I believe that the sleeves are significantly different since these are sleeves originally released in japan, and tsarena didnt get any sleeves made, so they probably went to the next one which is the pokeballs
Ps. These type of collection boxes seems the way the other countries get some of the Japanese pokemon center sleeves, which honestly i welcome as a sleeve collector it definitely helps the collection

Back my day I remember when people got trampled for the tickle me elmo and it was sad and just like turned me off of going to shops. I'm happy there are more online options, way more accessible 😊
My mom, sister and I took our friend with us for our 2nd year of Black Friday shopping. We unintentionally traumatized her during the trip to kohls 😅 the line to check out went to the end of the store and took so so so long to move. After that year, kohls was better about lines but our friend didn’t go in kohls much after that.

In Canada we adopted black friday in like 2008ish, because retailers wanted canadians to shop in canada and not go down to the US to shop black friday haha we always had boxing day on december 26th, the day after christmas was a huuuge sale day, but it’s not as great as it used to be since we now do black friday lol also you’re nails are so cool!!!
