My favorite translation is the NIV💞💞 I've used this translation since I became a Christian 25+ yrs. ago I heard the Passion is horrible. I have the Message bible. Its ok if you want to read as a story. I have the Joyce Meyer bible (battlefield) I love it!! And its in pink! 💝

Anyhow, I wanted to suggest for your paperback bibles you are worried about them holding up can be covered with clear contact paper. I do it with my paperback books because I throw them in my bag for work. It really protects them. Just a thought.
I have a world bible school study edition journaling bible and 2 King James version bibles and a Spanish bible as well can I write in them with a pompom pen
