- Hello! 💖. I wanted to share my 2023 updated Bible collection and How I use each one with you all! Reading the word of God is a necessity and you can also make it fun but getting a new beautiful Bible and reading different translations. I do not idolize Bibles and I don't buy just to buy (very Grateful for them and that I am not in a position of persecution for having them, praying for those that are)! I don't have a local Christian store in my area so that has influenced me to buy to see what it looks like in person but there is still self-control being displayed.
Some Bibles were brought from Amazon.com and some from Christianbook.com

Great Bible collection and thanks for sharing the headband trick. I used to do that with planners but never thought to do it with my Bibles. Definitely will try it !! Changing Bibles every book you study is amazing. I need to do that with my non-journaling Bibles 🤣 I'm determined to study every book in my current journaling Bible though it's been years now 😂
Thank you Sis! Girl I completely understand, I plan to study every book of the Bible also while using one specific journal Bible and I feel like it may take a while to complete too, because I have been studying the Book of Isaiah forever and it aint even no in depth verse by verse study 🤦🏾♀️.
So far I have three bibles. She reads truth (CSB), the spiritual growth Bible and the one step closer Bible (both NLT). If I had to choose, I would go with the spiritual growth Bible. It has so many references and key points picked out for you. I just wish it had 2 inch margins because that would make it the best Bible. Lol
I want to physically see the spiritual growth Bible in person because I am very intrigued with all it intel’s. The bookstores by me dont really have a good Bible section but the next time I go to my hometown I plan to see if they have it for me to view.
I like how you’re going to change Bibles each book you study. Clever! This year I’m reading the One Year Chronological Study Bible. I’d suggest getting a chronological to read. Next year I plan to read the Culture Background Bible which looks interesting to me. I am interested in people and places of the Bible times. You know, like what can we learn from them. They faced a lot of persecution to follow Christ so I’m curious about their lives in the first century. Thanks for RUclips video! 💖
Thank you! I have been considering reading a chronological Bible next but wasnt sure if I should do it from an actual chronological Bible or print off a plan to follow. Im very much interested in the culture too and not long after I made this video I ended up getting the complete Jewish study Bible which gives insight for Jews and Christians and I like so far. Im going to add the culture background Bible to my wishlist and then I should be good to go with Bibles. Diving into the word is so intriguing!!💖.
I like your use of bands around each one to keep them together instead of having them in a case. I like that they're all so colorful too.

I have soooo many different translations. Probably 50 or 60 different bibles. Its crazy. For me, I LOVE how each bible breaks down the word differently. Anyway.... you have to check out the Jesus Centered Bible. The OT has scripture that points to Jesus (as a prethought... and shows that Jesus was in the plan from the beginning) in blue. And the words of Jesus in the NT in red. Its an awesome Bible. Also you should check out the Faith Life bible. Its from the Logos creators. It has soooo much information about each scripture. It's great and an amazing resource for information. I have the Tony Evens Bible and love it. The videos you can scan and watch are a great resource. The Illustrated Study Bible (which h is really big in size due to being so full of information) is my go to Bible for sure. I love that its in color from cover to cover, and offers great commentary for the scriptures. Another great resource and a must for any Bible library I think. 😊

Hey, oh my how many🤔😂 The Parallel KJV/AMP is my favorite. I went through two of those when I was in school. I used the first one until it started coming apart so I got another one and it’s trying to hang in there.

I have 7 bibles in my collection. Two of them I had to retire because they were worn out. My favorite translation is either King James or New King James. I never stray from these two translations. Thank you for the video!
7 is a good number! Yes to team kjv and nkjv💖, I definitely study from these translations. The other translations Im fairly new to but I will say they are good to have for just daily reading and getting a different understanding with verses. Thank you for watching 💖

Thank you for sharing! This was so cool to watch. I currently have 13 Bibles, mainly in KJV or NKJV. I have one NIV (want to give it away), one CEV, and I recently purchased an Inspire Bible in the NLT. I bought a RSV but I am going to give it away because the RSV and NIV have a reputation for removing verses from the Bible. There are three other Bibles I would like to purchase including The Mission Study Bible KJV by Okaholma Academy, The Holy Bible for Children of Colour (for nostalgia, it was the first Bible my mother purchased for me as a child) and now the She Reads Truth Bible. You're the second person who has recommended the She Reads Truth Bible so now I definitely want to purchase one.
Thank you for watching 😊🤗💖. I knew about NIV leaving out scriptures but I didn’t know RSV did too. That’s one of the reasons why I keep a KJV and Amplified in my Bible stack especially when studying. The only thing I don’t really like with The She Reads Truth Bible is the thinness of the pages, but besides that shes gets a thumbs up 👍🏾. I love having physical Bible resources in my hand 💖💖💖. I hope you enjoy your new Bibles when you get them! Nothing like a fresh new Bible 😍
I enjoyed watching your bible videos today! I also have the Tony Evans Commentary. My daughter bought it for me when we learned of it because I have always loved his preaching. I am getting the CSB version of the Charles Spurgeon Bible this week. Can’t wait. I do like you do, have multiple versions and switch with each book of the Bible I read. Great Video, and lots of wonderful Bibles you have! 🌺 As to my favorite Bibles ~ I have a few Favorites: 1) Amplified Study Bible; Life Essentials Study Bible (CSB); Baker Illustrated Study Bible (CSB); NLT Illustrated Study Bible; Life Application Study Bible (HCSB); Tony Evans Study Bible (CSB) & Commentary.... But there are so many more. I'm a Bible Collector, and I enjoy ALL of my Bibles. Since I rotate them, and use 3 to 4 at a time (For comparison of Translations), I find many blessings in all of them. Looking forward to seeing more of your Bible Collection! 🌺

Its so intriguing to read/study multiple translations along with cover design variations. Parallel plus is a few app. & depending on your screen you get get up to 7 translation of any you choose side by side & you can change them also

The CSB does get a few things correct that a lot of other modern translations miss. Like John 3.16
I’m definitely about to look into that verse between all my translations today. Thanks for pointing that out. I do like to know all the distinct differences between the translations especially since Im fairly new to stepping away from KJV. 😉☺️
@@natishanloves I was raised on a number of translations (mainly KJV, RSV, TEV, NRSV, later NIV - and my uncles preached from the NASB) - mainly use the KJV myself but I'm not opposed to other translations and I'll at least hear them out (so to speak).
While I'm not a fan of the style of the CSB, I recognize that it does tend to get things right where a lot of other translations get them wrong. And I give it props for that.
@@fnjesusfreak I agree on hearing them out 😉. It’s good that you got exposed to different translations early on and I wished that I did. Im trying to figure out whats a good one for my young boys, I was thinking either Amplified or NASB
@@natishanloves Amplified isn't a good primary translation - works better as a secondary. NASB's good though - it might be a little stiff but it is a solid translation.

@@natishanloves Try looking out at Abebooks online store for used copy but many of them in very good condition at affordable prices offered by World of Books (seller). Actually, this is a Catholic Bible which comes with additional books in the Old Testament.

I love the outer covers of all the Jesus Bibles! I just started reading the book of Deuteronomy in it. The She Reads Truth is so esthetically pleasing💖
Why on Earth do you need so many bibles???? I can understand 2, 3 or perhaps 4 at a push - but my Goodness, it's just 'dead money' lying around your home? And 'artisan' is pronounced 'ar-tiz-an' not 'ar-tee-shan' like you said it.
I enjoy having multiple translations and I use them all differently! As I increase my walk with Christ some of my older Bibles were not giving me what I was needing for my growth. Also I dont have a Christian bookstore near me to physically see the Bibles in person. And I just simply like the Bibles I have, I want to eventually do reviews to help others when are deciding what they want and they will be available for my friends and family that are left after the Rapture and when they could potentially be banned❤. What God has financially blessed me with will eventually bless another. Thanks for the pronunciation clarifications😊. God Bless my sister in Christ💖
