I agree- I have two so far in large print.A KJV,and a NIV.I still want a large print NKJV and maybe a NLT.The regular print is too small for me to read now,even with bifocals.

Hi! Thank you for sharing. The Bible you have for girls would be a great like wedding gift or teen gift when your niece is older. I think it would be even more special if you studied that bible with your hand written notes in the Bible itself. Maybe some tip’ins and such.😊 I believe that would become a treasure for her, I’m sure.😊 I’m a newbie to your channel. Good rebinds are expensive - and I'd prolly only get one done (or do it myself) if it were falling apart. But I do have some rebinds, and I've done a couple myself (though "wraps" would be a better description of mine). With that said, however, a new cover is absolutely a valid way you can make a bible your own.
Agreed! In retrospect it is highly unnecessary to rebind a brand new Bible 😂🙈 I do love it though and will make sure to use it until it really earned that rebind!

HAHA!! It took me a couple of days in and around work! It’s about 1500 cards and I adhered them with nail glue, super glue, and mod podge spray 😂🫣😬 we will not be moving!!
Hi Jenna, I really enjoyed you and the video! I'll try to keep this short, lol. I too, follow Faith and got the interleaved leather in NKJV and love it! I'm a KJV, NKJV, ESV girl, but turn to NLT when I just need it plain. I did want to share this though. I have ADHD, and notice that when I worship, pray and sit in silence for a few minutes before studying, I do not get distracted. Not sure if you do this already, but figured I'd suggest it in case you don't 😊 Anywho, I subscribed and can't wait to watch more of your videos 💜 Peace and blessings🙏🏽✝️

I am also a Bible hoarder..lol and I too love the Book of Proverbs, I call Proverbs The Gangster Rules of Life ♥ I have tried to like the She Reads Truth Bibles because they are very cute (I like the cloth over board), but the CSB, I'm not a fan of. Inspire Bibles are beautiful, but I can't get with the NLT. The true translations in the KJV and NKJV and Amplified Classic, which is a bit hard to find. However, I love God's Holy Word, like you do too! Keep pushing, girly!
I have many King James Version bible’s which I grew up on. I have 3 that I can journal and color and I now have a life application Bible that I use this year and it’s true I read the one that I will use.
I am so glad you popped up on my recommended videos! You were so much fun to watch! I think your personality will be used to draw people who weren’t even necessarily overly excited about Bibles yet, but enjoyed your videos so much that they’ll fall in love with the Word without even realizing it. I related to so many of the things that you said, and I am all about Faith Womack, and totally wish I had done what she did, in keeping all her Bible notes from school and classes and everything all in one place. I got an interleaved, but it was to write out the entire Bible on those pages, because I was doing topical Scripture writing, and loved it, but I saw a video -Yes, I fall into some of the traps you mention, lol - and the woman, for her Scripture writing, was literally writing out the entire Bible, and she was going to do one for each of her kids! She has gotten far, I have not. Anyway, there’s so much I want to say, but you don’t need to read a novel. However, this has inspired me to do a video on my Bibles that I’ve been holding off on doing. I’ve done little ones on some of my Bibles here and there, but I think it would be fun to have it all in one place. I look forward to binging on your other videos, and I am a happy new subscriber.!

It’s Cat Woods … and she is also the one always talking about Bible gardens … I’m not sure if that’s who you’re referring to though, she actually like seriously decorates all her many many many premium Bibles with flowers and butterflies. I literally just started watching your what’s in my Bible bag video and got like, what, one minute in and had to go buy those Bible markers you showed because they remind me of my favorite ones that I can’t find anymore. I have been using them since 1999! They are Stabilo Boss and they’re crayon-ish? I don’t know, but I’ve never found another one like them and believe me I have a ridiculous amount of highlighters that I’ve tried over the years. And I’m not a huge fan of the gel highlighters that I’ve tried. I’m excited for these to come, I found them on Amazon. I’m curious, do you color code when you highlight and take notes? I’ve been doing that for quite some time, and also using symbols because I’m a precepts, nerd, and precept Bible study leader. But I’m finding now that I keep adding more and more topics and colors and so I’m kind of liking how people just, don’t necessarily color code, but to keep their highlighted areas from blending into each other. They just alternate what color they’re using - if they’ve already marked a verse during a previous reading in yellow, for example, and then on another reading, they want to highlight the verse right after it, then they’ll just mark it in pink and highlight the notes in pink, does that make sense? I’m just trying to settle on some thing before I start using a Bible I got over a year ago, that was one of my unicorn Bibles, and I’ve made like one note in it, ha ha. Tell ya. we’re kind of like soul sisters 🤣😉
@@LindaFromMySelfCareStudio ok yassssss!!! Soul sisters from the ultimate Mister! (Weird way of referring to God?! 😂🙈) I do not use a color code system! I’m not opposed, I just can’t get into it. Currently I mostly rotate between 4 different coral/orange shades and just use different ones to indicate it was either from different readings OR I got different revelations out of the verses.

I love it so much, but then I also want to use another..then I feel bad for not using the SRT Bible..I used it for over a year now and I find myself wanting to dive in a new Bible, but I cannot decide on anything new! Exactly!!! Honestly the more and more you dig into the Word- it almost becomes a friend! And then you DO feel bad for wanting to switch bc it’s almost like cheating on your friend! 😂🙈 But the good news (no pun intended) is that the friendship we are building is with the Holy Spirit! His Word truly is living and active!!!
my kitties would go nuts over that fringe! 🤣 I tried those cute paper clips with the bows on them - loved them on my Bible last year and they kept getting pulled off and I caught Mia doing it LOL!
I have Bibles too I stopped when I gave up on it but now I think it's not a failure- I got something out of it at the time and made changes to how I use them and sometimes go back and do the same type of study/reading then switch back to another Bible. NLT is nice to read and I try to use a different translation each year for a read through

I have been on the hunt for your NKJV Interleaved bible. Goodness I feel like I have searched to the ends of the earth. Where did you purchase it? I cant find it anywhere. Hello which Bible would you recommend with a similar layout to the Jesus Bible but with a font larger than 9.5 I just received the Jesus Bible NIV and I’m so disappointed that the scripture text is too small.😢 CSB, ESV , NKJV, preferred but I’m open to other translations because I compare them.
Personally I do! I grew up with the NIV so it’s comfortable/nostalgic for me, but I prefer the NLT. Actually, after this video I purchased a Message Bible and I’m loving it! I don’t use it as my study Bible (I use my Tony Evans Study Bible for that), but I keep it next to my bed or on the couch and I just read it for pleasure. It’s a very relaxing/ no pressure way of getting into the Bible for me currently.

It's nice to have a collection, but it's wonderful to give them away. Give to those who have no chance to buy a bible. Do not accumulate books at home, they have no value, donate if you can, the person who does not have one waits. Jesus bless you guys
Very good point! I did not mention it in this video but I actually keep a stock of Bibles in my trunk for this very reason. 🙃 You never know when you’ll run across someone in need of a Bible!
Yes, I've received alot of used Bibles. But I also like to have a collection at home because I plan to give them to my 9 children. Also each Bible brings some new insight depending on the if it's focussed on historical, devotional, study, language (meaning bringing out Greek, Hebrew etc) So I think that it's beneficial to have different types for indepth study. I know you can use online features but I'm almost 40 and prefer physical books over online reading and I just have a different experience with a physical Bible. I can visually see the time I've spent in them and hopefully before I transition, I'll have some very well used Bibles for my kids to see how mom studied or my favorites verses or little notes or prayers for each child as they grow.
@@sweetdkinkycurls exactly! Seeing the time I’ve spent in my physical Bible and my notes and everything is just so rich and beneficial for me. Seeing typed notes (like on my app) does nothing for me, but if I see my hand written notes I instantly Rene her what I was thinking when I wrote them! ✨
Hi, please dont beat yourself up if you take a break from our Lords word. If you feel the need always go back to the bible (version your reading). I had to take a couple of breaks when I felt so crappy. But once I regrouped I went back. I read the NLT from the old testament to the new testament. Recently I've finished the NASB (both testaments) After Christmas I will be reading the complete Jewish Bible (both testaments)by David Stern and ESV. With the help of the book "The bible recap". For those moments where you feel crappy. Have you thought about getting the bible recap book? Its had rave reviews on when we want to give up, or feel down, confused etc. Have a blessed day, hon. I actually looked into the Bible Recap in January but decided for this year I wanted to try to stick with what I already had. I’m contemplating using their Bible reading plan next year. 😊

All those Bibles and you're still confused about the Trinity.....really? Learn the "Apostles Creed" as well as the "Nicene Creed". These Creeds break it down clearly for you. Buy a copy or find online a copy of "The Catechism of the Catholic Church". That will straighten you and your husband out once and for all.

I dread to think how much money this lovely woman spent when she travelled hundreds of miles to that man’s house to get her bible re-covered - but here’s food for thought…… I too have a fave bible and always loathed the cheap crappy cover… so I went to charity shops and eventually found a brown leather mini skirt in the softest, butteriest leather (£4), took it (and my bible) to a local seamstress and asked her to cut up the skirt and use the leather to sew a cover for my bible. She charged me £10. So for £14 I have a stunning leather cover for my bible (and people can’t believe how I did it). Guess Jenna’s got masses of money to waste on bibles that just sit on a shelf gathering dust. Dead capital.
I actually mention several times in my videos that I am NOT suggesting that anyone do what I did and that looking back it’s not necessary at all. Perhaps you didn’t see that part. 😊 I love that our God is so good, and He can redeem even silly decisions we make in our lives. I just spent quite a while with Him reading through that same Bible today, I’m glad that He doesn’t care about the cover of His Word- He just meets us there in it. 💛
It's takes more energy to leave a condescending comment then to either ignore the video if you didn't like it or extend Jenna some grace and think maybe she bought all of these for a reason. If anyone in her family or friends need one they can go to her and see what she took from the scripture

I literally just started watching your what’s in my Bible bag video and got like, what, one minute in and had to go buy those Bible markers you showed because they remind me of my favorite ones that I can’t find anymore. I have been using them since 1999! They are Stabilo Boss and they’re crayon-ish? I don’t know, but I’ve never found another one like them and believe me I have a ridiculous amount of highlighters that I’ve tried over the years.
And I’m not a huge fan of the gel highlighters that I’ve tried.
I’m excited for these to come, I found them on Amazon.
I’m curious, do you color code when you highlight and take notes? I’ve been doing that for quite some time, and also using symbols because I’m a precepts, nerd, and precept Bible study leader. But I’m finding now that I keep adding more and more topics and colors and so I’m kind of liking how people just, don’t necessarily color code, but to keep their highlighted areas from blending into each other. They just alternate what color they’re using - if they’ve already marked a verse during a previous reading in yellow, for example, and then on another reading, they want to highlight the verse right after it, then they’ll just mark it in pink and highlight the notes in pink, does that make sense? I’m just trying to settle on some thing before I start using a Bible I got over a year ago, that was one of my unicorn Bibles, and I’ve made like one note in it, ha ha. Tell ya. we’re kind of like soul sisters 🤣😉

I do not use a color code system! I’m not opposed, I just can’t get into it. Currently I mostly rotate between 4 different coral/orange shades and just use different ones to indicate it was either from different readings OR I got different revelations out of the verses.

Exactly!!! Honestly the more and more you dig into the Word- it almost becomes a friend! And then you DO feel bad for wanting to switch bc it’s almost like cheating on your friend! 😂🙈 But the good news (no pun intended) is that the friendship we are building is with the Holy Spirit! His Word truly is living and active!!!
my kitties would go nuts over that fringe! 🤣 I tried those cute paper clips with the bows on them - loved them on my Bible last year and they kept getting pulled off and I caught Mia doing it LOL!

I have Bibles too I stopped when I gave up on it but now I think it's not a failure- I got something out of it at the time and made changes to how I use them and sometimes go back and do the same type of study/reading then switch back to another Bible. NLT is nice to read and I try to use a different translation each year for a read through

Hello which Bible would you recommend with a similar layout to the Jesus Bible but with a font larger than 9.5 I just received the Jesus Bible NIV and I’m so disappointed that the scripture text is too small.😢 CSB, ESV , NKJV, preferred but I’m open to other translations because I compare them.
Honestly I’m not sure!! I love the Tony Evans Study Bible which is a CSB but I’m not sure the font size!

Do you think the NLT is easier to read than the NIV?
Personally I do! I grew up with the NIV so it’s comfortable/nostalgic for me, but I prefer the NLT.
Actually, after this video I purchased a Message Bible and I’m loving it! I don’t use it as my study Bible (I use my Tony Evans Study Bible for that), but I keep it next to my bed or on the couch and I just read it for pleasure. It’s a very relaxing/ no pressure way of getting into the Bible for me currently.

It's nice to have a collection, but it's wonderful to give them away. Give to those who have no chance to buy a bible. Do not accumulate books at home, they have no value, donate if you can, the person who does not have one waits. Jesus bless you guys

Yes, I've received alot of used Bibles. But I also like to have a collection at home because I plan to give them to my 9 children. Also each Bible brings some new insight depending on the if it's focussed on historical, devotional, study, language (meaning bringing out Greek, Hebrew etc)
So I think that it's beneficial to have different types for indepth study. I know you can use online features but I'm almost 40 and prefer physical books over online reading and I just have a different experience with a physical Bible. I can visually see the time I've spent in them and hopefully before I transition, I'll have some very well used Bibles for my kids to see how mom studied or my favorites verses or little notes or prayers for each child as they grow.
@@sweetdkinkycurls exactly! Seeing the time I’ve spent in my physical Bible and my notes and everything is just so rich and beneficial for me. Seeing typed notes (like on my app) does nothing for me, but if I see my hand written notes I instantly Rene her what I was thinking when I wrote them! ✨

Hi, please dont beat yourself up if you take a break from our Lords word. If you feel the need always go back to the bible (version your reading). I had to take a couple of breaks when I felt so crappy. But once I regrouped I went back. I read the NLT from the old testament to the new testament. Recently I've finished the NASB (both testaments) After Christmas I will be reading the complete Jewish Bible (both testaments)by David Stern and ESV. With the help of the book "The bible recap". For those moments where you feel crappy. Have you thought about getting the bible recap book? Its had rave reviews on when we want to give up, or feel down, confused etc. Have a blessed day, hon. All those Bibles and you're still confused about the Trinity.....really? Learn the "Apostles Creed" as well as the "Nicene Creed". These Creeds break it down clearly for you. Buy a copy or find online a copy of "The Catechism of the Catholic Church". That will straighten you and your husband out once and for all.

I dread to think how much money this lovely woman spent when she travelled hundreds of miles to that man’s house to get her bible re-covered - but here’s food for thought…… I too have a fave bible and always loathed the cheap crappy cover… so I went to charity shops and eventually found a brown leather mini skirt in the softest, butteriest leather (£4), took it (and my bible) to a local seamstress and asked her to cut up the skirt and use the leather to sew a cover for my bible. She charged me £10. So for £14 I have a stunning leather cover for my bible (and people can’t believe how I did it). Guess Jenna’s got masses of money to waste on bibles that just sit on a shelf gathering dust. Dead capital.
I actually mention several times in my videos that I am NOT suggesting that anyone do what I did and that looking back it’s not necessary at all. Perhaps you didn’t see that part. 😊 I love that our God is so good, and He can redeem even silly decisions we make in our lives. I just spent quite a while with Him reading through that same Bible today, I’m glad that He doesn’t care about the cover of His Word- He just meets us there in it. 💛
