  • Welcome to an extraordinary journey through the human brain, a vibrant exploration that merges art, music, and the depths of our consciousness. Set to the evocative track "Here and Now," this video invites you to immerse yourself in a mesmerizing blend of chillout music and psychedelic visuals, designed to stimulate the mind and soul.
We embark on this voyage in the frontal lobe, the seat of decision-making and problem-solving. Here, our characters stand at crossroads, contemplating choices amidst a tapestry of traffic junctions and multicolored roads, each path representing the myriad possibilities of life.
As we drift past the temporal lobe, the repository of our memories unfolds before us. Characters navigate rooms filled with books, paintings, and artifacts, each symbolizing their personal histories. The memories manifest in diverse forms-some as chaotic and intertwined narratives, others as orderly, detailed recollections, or flowing, colorful abstractions and mathematical wonders.
Next, we venture into the occipital lobe, where visual processing transforms into a spectacle of psychedelic patterns and shapes. Characters perceive vibrant, mind-bending visuals that symbolize dreams, imagination, and the multifaceted nature of reality itself.
Our journey then takes us to the parietal lobe, the integrator of sensory experiences. Here, synesthesia takes center stage as characters experience a fusion of senses-seeing sounds, hearing colors, and feeling textures in an extraordinary symphony of perception.
Finally, we arrive at the insula, the realm of emotion regulation. In this profound space, characters experience the full spectrum of human emotions-joy, fear, anger, and sadness-culminating in a conscious choice to embrace love.
"Here and Now" is more than just a track; it's an experience-a symphonic, psychedelic odyssey that resonates with those who seek to ponder life's big questions, who are captivated by the fusion of technology and art, and who appreciate the unique blend of chillout and avant-garde music.
Join me on this journey, and let your mind wander through the intricate landscapes of the brain, guided by the ethereal sounds and trippy visuals that promise to elevate your senses and expand your consciousness.
To state the obvious: this video is for entertainment purposes only and is not meant to be educational!

I've listened to the song several times since you posted it, and for the first time I couldn't really feel anything deep. I was surprised, then I decided to read your text, and I understood why. In fact it is a guided trip, which you cannot do on your own. We must follow your instructions, understand that there is something to understand, and do what I never do, immerse myself in your sublime visual work. It is not within myself that I am going to enter this time by listening to you, but I am going to accept that you take me by the hand and surrender myself entirely to your art.
I haven't taken the time yet to make this unique trip, but I would probably do it several times. You know, it’s surprising because I’m currently working on a big project on a journey into the soul, the brain and the spirit, with, like you, an empirical and spiritual dimension. I struggle to move forward because if we want to marry these two opposites, the salvation of the soul and the science of things, we need a lot of rigor and a lot of imagination. I'm a little stuck right now because I want to finish my symphony of around twenty pieces before putting it all on RUclips. Anyways, bravo for the idea and the work, it must have taken you a lot of time. I see the fact that you are working on a project similar to mine as a sign of motivation. I hold on to what I can...

Ah, this track is not one of my most popular ones, I don't know why, but people like it less than some other other ones. It happens, right? I do think it lends itself to a sort of guided journey, because it's got these kind of obvious stages. But maybe it just speaks to me more than it does to most other people. I do hope you enjoy the visual journey and thank you for this interesting comment.
The salvation of the soul and the science of things, I think this is why so many people look for ways to understand the mind, to understand the subconscious, because it gives us the feeling we have some control over it all. I like it too, neurology, for instance, is something I've been interested in for many years, but at the same time it doesn't rule out the concept of a soul or anything like that. It's just we don't know a way to scan for a soul, to scientifically prove it's there, but that doesn't mean it isn't. The first guy that talked about tiny bugs being everywhere was laughed at, until he built a microscope and said "I told you so". So who knows.
Gotto love big projects, it's a great way to push your own limits haha. I hope you do remember to also take breaks sometimes and relax, do nothing for a bit, enjoy the sunshine. Sometimes when you're stuck that's the best thing to do, take a day or two to step back from it, do something else, come back with a refreshed mind. I'm curious to hear the 20 pieces of music, but take your time!

I have the same idea as you about why your piece is perhaps less popular. However, since I understood why I like it more (I like to understand😜). And above all I am very impressed by the effort you have made at all levels to build a complete and ambitious artistic object. I am surprised that, even if my equivalent project is very different, we share this same ambition to hold together materialist empiricism and the wildest dreams, the attraction for these questions which go beyond the capacity of science. I have a distant past in the new age, and it was science and metaphysics that put my feet back on the ground (and the birth of my daughter 21 years ago especially in fact😅). Today I think that we must nourish our deepest questions with the most tangible facts, accepting that science is not a religion, that everything is open, that understanding its results is very difficult, but I know that with my head in the stars of my inner sky, I need this inertia. I really appreciated how in your text you try to weight down your imagination in this way, to start from the materiality of the brain, to rise towards ideas and end with that of love. I admit that regarding my project I don't yet know if I'm going in the same direction, but I would like it to lead me there... I also found it surprising that our two cousin projects are in fact absolutely different in all points in their realization. To tell you, I'm not talking about brain areas at all, which seem to me to be mountains that are a little hard to climb: their shared functions and the plasticity of the brain make them a little hermetic to me... so I really appreciated the review (in fact I'm reading a book by Antonio Damasio and at the moment I'm reading a chapter on the insula, which is the highlight of your piece…🤗) Rather, I try to produce an explanation that would bring consciousness out of matter by daring to define emotions, feelings, soul, spirit and consciousness (in fact of all types of consciousness ) by mechanical causalities by marrying crazy concepts and the maximum of empirical rigor. If I fail, I would conclude that the soul is not of material origin. If you find the answer before me I hope you will make a song about it😉. So there you have it, thank you for your support and advice. They are not too much. Like you, I think that stress is a scourge to be avoided and this project gives me a lot of it, but I've been waiting for years to be able to dedicate myself to a project like this. Congratulations again for your work and for this stage music that I love more and more.

Oh yeah, it's always a surprise what people will like best, which is also nice in a way. If it was all known in advance it would get boring too. At the same time I'm sure I'll remix it again some day and see if I can get people to like it better this time haha. I think some things that are fringe science have a point, but it's good to stay level-headed at the same time. I like to be like Mulder from X-Files: I want to believe, but I don't have blind faith in anything. New Age, interesting, so like crystals and astrology, tarot, that sort of stuff? I've had my interests in these things, but it never very far, I did have a lot of New Age music, good for sleeping! I can imagine that when you have to be a parent, you need to be responsible, being level-headed is a good thing. The brain has fascinated me for a long time. When I was 17 I read The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, by Oliver Sacks and since then I try to learn more from time to time, as a side project in life, so that's been for a while (and I still don't know enough and it stays fascinating!). I'll check out Antonio Damasio out some time too, thanks for the tip!
Your project sounds very interesting, but if the soul is not of material origin, what is it? I'm not saying it is, I just ask if you have an idea. You've probably heard about something called the "heart field" and that they call the heart the second brain. I find it interesting how these measurable, physically present phenomena can be an explanation for the metaphysical. I feel and believe certain things exist, I'd just like to understand what they are and why. But don't we all, right? And yes, if I do, I'll make a song about it, you do the same!
It's awesome you're doing the things you've been wanting to do for years, the same goes for me, I can relate to the energy that goes into something like that, so keep it up!

@@observingsystem I have to say that I generally agree with everything you say and I believe that our approach to knowledge is very similar. Mulder, yes, his rational approach to seemingly irrational or intangible phenomena is the one I try to have. In general, we often lean towards one or the other, skepticism or belief, (and often skepticism becomes a belief...) and approach, like Mulder, what escapes science with a scientific attitude, from less at the start, seems essential to me. Like you, I know that the observation of simple mechanisms or measurement of reality, like you mentioned about the heart field (another theme I have to work on😅, opens up to knowledge of a metaphysical order. In fact, for my part, I above all try to combine theoretical imagination and empirical data in a common process. Concretely, I try to build a refutable structural system from these, and with each new contradictory information, I evolve it or I abandon it. Otherwise I love Duchovny in the role of Fox, but even more in that of Hank in the series Californication, the character who says out loud what no one even dares to think in silence. What an outlet it was for my rebellious youth struck by stupidity and hypocrisy...

@@observingsystem I share your vision of the new age, which with Buddhism, appeared to me as a teenager as the only thoughts that answered my existential questions.
For years now I have been interested in all possible subjects. I therefore identify the general structures by successive focal points, then I try to connect them together by analogy. It's a huge job that I'm far from having finished, but that I now have more time to carry out, especially since I'm trying to hybridize it with my musical universe, as you too seem to me. I have the hope of going to the end of it because as I mentioned to you I believe, it is metaphysically obvious that the first creative cause of everything cannot be conscious of itself since consciousness is intentional, (without object no consciousness), and that the first cause must only be alone and without exteriority otherwise it will not be first. I therefore start from the postulate that creation is a matter of necessity and not of will, that it is therefore mechanical, and that all the complex structures that support our world have become more complex over time from the contradictory principles of the first cause. As a result, each time I spot a structure in one area it can be used in others. So, if I want to answer your question about the origin and nature of the soul, I had to clarify what I have just said, since the soul, like the various types of consciousness (which for me depend on the different types of objects that are presented to them), the mind, etc., emerge in my opinion as stages of the global mechanical process based on these contradictory primitive principles, (a non-material mechanics so), and which must end in the ultimate stage of the introspective and reflective consciousness which empties itself of all the superfluous and embodies in itself the essence of the first cause. To date I am far from this result even if in the past I have sometimes come closer to this ideal. Well, I made it way too long again, but that’s because I’m currently listening to Here and Now which activates all my lobes at the same time😉😁.
I finish by telling you that if you want me to work on a synthesis of my current work on the soul, which could also be very profitable for me because I tend to spread myself too much) I can get started ( in fact I started yesterday) and send it to you eventually on Facebook. but really don't feel obligated to say yes. I hope I didn’t bore you too much with my rantings and thank you for these great exchanges and for your encouragement.🙏
