24:25 "He pumps 14 liters of grease into the lubrication tub; Marriage consummated" perfectly narrated😂
So cool
Operated one of these in the early 90's. It was a unbelievable what the machine is capable of. When operating it is best to think out of the box.
Impressive. Maintenance cost will be a headache.
26:25 Lol, divining rods, that made me chuckle. Strange to see this sort of thing in a Welt documentary though, at least without any disclaimer of it being completely bogus superstition. They just simply explain "if the rods cross each other it indicates the presence of underground water", as if stating something factual. Really, really strange to hear that in a documentary such as this. Apart from that, fascinating vehicle, very cool to see in what ways they can be used and how they're made
Its true
They could've cut this shit out, but it's not like they made it up. They just filmed the people working these machines, and happened to get one of the hillbillies.
The mountain yokels of switzerland have always been of the believe any bullshit sort. Also the last high bastions of catholicism.
@@lorenzo6045 I was shocked about that as well. Maybe they don't rely in "science" as much. I live in Sweden and I think a university here made a study on it and some how could confirm it, but I can't remember when I read it.
I was surprised too, and that's just about what we already know. I wonder what else we're being told as if it's factual but is actually bogus, and I'm not just talking about this video btw..
Pretty Slick..
An excavator to surpass Metal Gear
I was an operator of 1 of 5 global prototypes. The 5000+.
That led to the "M" series.
An German aeriallift company made a 42 meter lift with this same undercarriage. It's called the Teupen 42GTX Puma
why they called puma lol, it's look like star trooper arachnid
@@dt6esdff413 No idea!🤣
So many moving parts on it, the cost of maintenance must be huge.
I was thinking the same thing. Still a really cool machine.
true but that the trade off for such capability's
@phalanx3803 Yeah theres nothing like it.
So.. buy the chinese made. Cheaper, but lack of quality, durability and spare parts.
😂😂😂
@ridhobaihaqi144 That's exactly what I did to start out with lol. Alot of excavators are chinese made even Caterpillar.
Extra fuel tanks , very handy !
That’s some hard ground under that water.
wow ..one fulla built them all ! no wonder he's got arms like that :)
Love these shows. Extremely interesting. The narrator is great...however..he talks about screws, that are actually bolts, and describes pins, as being bolts...fact is, the only screws on this show, are the ones inside the cab that fixes the speedometer etc...the rest are all bolts, with pins in key hinged areas....
Oof, dousing rods....
if this were to be adapted to use on Luna it would be a great advantage to mining & development.
This was really awesome! Now I know what I want to work with.... I'm now 43.. Anyone in Sweden or Scandinavia that can give me a job with this machine?
Very enjoyable many thanks to welt +menzi muck ,🍀
Amazing Technology, so gratifying to see this kind of progress. Kudos....Javi G.
Today I have learned two things: for just the amount of money you could pay enough people to get the job done in a day for an entire year, you can get the job done in a day, and ... Adem Aslan.
8:09 carbide teeth on rocks. 😬 replacement teeth are not cheap and you can see they are pretty chipped.when you see the teeth.
Robot Automated excavator
A precursor to Code Geass Landspinners lol
Who said mechs aren't practical🤣👍🏻
Diggers evolving into crabs
that some japanese anime level type of contraption
Nice. Can I buy it on Amazon?
Yes. Some assembly required.
This the arc enemy of Captain Planet!
Did they know how to use it properly? How many times it goes into the F1 + Formula E + MotoGP + ballrooms + all the green footballs STREETS?
Wow. This is a really cool design. Imagine controlling this with a Brain interface like Neuralink.
Clearly someone has too much time and money on their hands.
Looks heavy….
Lies, misinformation, again,I have walked my excavator in 4 feet of water, tou ger 2 and half
Tghcchc
