Folks who are saying it's going to be the "nuclear weapon devil" haven't been paying attention to the story. Aging continuously reiterates this chapter that it can't be dealt with that easily. Falling devil, another primal fear also stated that "they can't defeat a primal with the methods or weapons " anyone possesses. Nuclear weapon is a human creation, don't think it's gonna work or come into play this arc Im sorry guys
They said "currently posseses" and I assume falling has no knowledge of nuclear bombs, because they were erased. I agree with you though, to me, it sounds more like Pochita might bring back one of the other things that can happen to a living being when it reaching the end of the span of it's life. If people have somewhere to go after dying of old age or instead of dying change in some way I think aging as a whole would be feared less, thus weakening aging.
My one thought as to how a ‘nuclear weapon’ Devil being barfed back up could have an affect against Aging is ‘harmful radiation’ (something generated by nuclear weapons and can be naturally occurring) that drastically decreases the lifespan of someone, therefore (maybe) ‘outrunning’ Aging, and there a lot of different types of radiation (light, microwave, etc.) so the possibility that nuclear radiation was consumed and could be barfed back up but not necessarily as nuclear weapons is a possibility, but a long, long, long shot. A buddy of mine has a theory that is much more likely that Poochita is just going to barf up Octopus or Bitterness or something will happen and it will be a string of devils used to just annoy Aging into backing off. I am not the biggest fan of this theory but with how done with everything Aging has looked these last two chapters, who knows?

I feel like he's gonna throw up the disease/pestilence devil. Isn't it weird how the third horseman is control? It should be: War causes soldiers to take food leading to famine. Famine causes weakness leading to disease, which then leads to death. Which would also mean that the appearance of the true 3rd horseman would also then bring out death. Also, I could be wrong but I don't recall hearing of many diseases in CSM.

Conquest is the original First Horseman, represented by Control. Pestilence was a later interpretation by people who thought Conquest was too similar to War.

I’m curious on what Denji will vomit in order to give pochita a chance to win the fight without eating aging devil, maybe a devil that counters the concept of aging. I’m also looking forward to seeing how Denji and Asa are able to escape from aging devil’s world, I’m sure that there relationship will lead to some interesting moments in this story.

Didn’t think of this route tbf in my mind control was so op in part 1 and technically denji ate makima even if nayuta reincarnated but is now “dead” that was just my instant thought for a solution to control a primal fear if you can’t kill them (ik makima struggled against darkness but even darkness was weak to light)
I think there's a different way to interpret what was said about the other "deaths". I don't think that there are (or have ever been) more than one "death" devils, it's just the horseman and nobody else. What was said though, was that there were other *conclusions to life* than death that were erased. The only reason we perceive the terms "conclusion to life" and "death" as synonymous is that death *is* the only way a life concludes from our perspective, but from Chainsaw Man's point of view there were more, and he erased them. For example, it's possible that reincarnation was a real concept in the CSM verse, where you don't necessarily die, but get put in a completely new, lesser species body when your current one is destroyed -- the concept of retaining all of your memories but being stuck inside a fish body sounds frankly dark, but it could be one of the "alternative conclusions to life" that chainsaw man had erased. This is just an example to put you in the right headspace for theorizing what those other life conclusions could've been. It's possible that some of them are outside of our human comprehension, like "ascending" and becoming a higher-level entity that still exists, yet can't interact with the physical world at all. These sorts of concepts are what I think CSM had eaten up, they were never supposed to be seen as an extension of death, but as an alternative, parrarel to her, not subordinate.

It always struck me strangely as to why Beam specifically said "our wish". What wish or pact could Denji have made with Beam? Unless it's just a throwaway testament to their camaraderie, I think it's a subtle hint for something far more significant. Pochita, deep within Denji, likely sensed the immense danger Denji was in at that moment. However, Denji wasn't particularly feeling the sense of dispair that causes Black Chainsawman to emerge, and a Pochita that is truly fearful for Denji's life would likely go to extreme lengths to save him. What if Pochita was somehow controlling or influencing Beam to say that, and those words weren't actually Beam's but somehow Pochita's? Maybe I'm just reading this too much but I needed to share the thought

Even dough I would love to see some new devils and their implications I highly doubt Pochita will vomit anything other than Octopus. The Chainsaw Man ate all those devils because they’re harmful for humans and even in a situation like this I doubt he purposefully pukes them up; like The Light of a Star that breaks children’s mind doesn’t seem a joke and there are also 10000 children gathered together nearby for the Aging’s contract. If he doesn’t want to eat Aging to not let those kids die, you think he will let them be brain dead to defeat him? Or any other bad concept he ate to walk freely around? I highly doubt that. Octopus on the other hand was only eaten because he was on the way, no particular harm to humans in the end, and by doing so Yoshida could switch side and help Denji and Asa get out of the Aging’s world since it’s hinted that he is the only one who originally was able to escape.

I think eventually Fami will step in and do something about it in order to not let Asa die at least. It’s all her plan after all and I theorize that Aging Devil is just another one of her puppets, like Falling and Guillotine, because we saw him in hell but how he got to Earth was not explained so it could be that he got there in the same fashion as the Falling Devil.
The whole notion of a 'death-devil' is a strange outlier by the series's own vague rules, as it stands it'd be the only devil that's both a horseman and primal fear all in one, but it stands to ask, why would it be a devil so powerful that it embodies the title as 'the prince of terror' when everyone and everything on this planet understands and accepts the inevitability of it? The most important caveat is just how you die.

Even dough I would love to see some new devils and their implications I highly doubt Pochita will vomit anything other than Octopus. The Chainsaw Man ate all those devils because they’re harmful for humans and even in a situation like this I doubt he purposefully pukes them up; like The Light of a Star that breaks children’s mind doesn’t seem a joke and there are also 10000 children gathered together nearby for the Aging’s contract. If he doesn’t want to eat Aging to not let those kids die, you think he will let them be brain dead to defeat him? Or any other bad concept he ate to walk freely around? I highly doubt that.
Octopus on the other hand was only eaten because he was on the way, no particular harm to humans in the end, and by doing so Yoshida could switch side and help Denji and Asa get out of the Aging’s world since it’s hinted that he is the only one who originally was able to escape.

@@Dankaju I highly doubt they will defeat the Aging devil, he is a primal fear and himself said that they have no ways of killing him. I think eventually Fami will step in and do something about it in order to not let Asa die at least. It’s all her plan after all and I theorize that Aging Devil is just another one of her puppets, like Falling and Guillotine, because we saw him in hell but how he got to Earth was not explained so it could be that he got there in the same fashion as the Falling Devil.

The whole notion of a 'death-devil' is a strange outlier by the series's own vague rules, as it stands it'd be the only devil that's both a horseman and primal fear all in one, but it stands to ask, why would it be a devil so powerful that it embodies the title as 'the prince of terror' when everyone and everything on this planet understands and accepts the inevitability of it? The most important caveat is just how you die.
